Hustler's design and quality control seem to decline with every passing year. We have had 3 Hustler zero turn mowers over the years and each has been worse than the one before. Hustler ignores any problem that they can't fix and the selling dealer is just as unknowing.

Resembles my fender creation. I made mine just the width of the tread which I like a bit better. But then, you have your own taste and those look very nice and you can sell them. Mine went through the flex forks over the top of the tire so when I was backing up it didn't throw trash onto the front of the deck. You can add an extension to yours in the event you find backing up still deposits debris. Great job Sir!

Great Idea With The Hook, Seen Your Video And Had To Buy The Drain House! I Made A Great Contraption That Works Much Like The One You Made But The House Looks Like Something Should Have Been Installed In The First Place! I Have a Yellow Drain Plug That Locks In And Pulls Out To Open The Valve So It Will Just Spin Right Out Without Doing Anything! It's A Kawasaki Engine So It Should Have The Right Threads? I Hope. Anyway The Hook Idea Is Something A Will Want To Get So The Hose Isn't Rattling Around Or Rubbing And Cutting Into The Hose. Thanks For The Video. The Guy I Bought The Tractor From Said That Changing The Oil Was A Disaster And Oil Spill Every time! My Contraption Worked Great and No Spill But More Work Connecting So This (No Nonsense Hose Deal) Looks To Be A Winner!

While I think the fenders are useless for those tires, I do like how they look. I think it would be time better spent if you put a deck-cleaning hose nozzle on the deck..

I don’t like those deck-cleaning hose you can cause your deck bearings to rust and wear out quicker, if they was any good you would think the commercial mower would have them. That’s just my opinion, Thank you for watching an commenting.

My front fenders didn't hit anything, the neighbor just thought they looked terrible. Mine looked nice as they were yellow HDPE that were half inch off the tire and same radius. But then too, the deck skirts worked perfectly and I'm happy with those and looks great. The rear mud flaps I never bolted on. Been working on and off for years on making fenders with a flap built in front and rear formed around the tires. Just can't make myself like the looks I keep coming up with. Reminds me of the Swishers from a few years ago. lol Great video young man. You need to medicate that cat. Just way too rambunctious. hahaha.

I rework the right front fender it will work now, I haven’t done the left one yet , just the right fender was slightly bumping the deck wheel when the flex fork flex . I did those front fenders in 2015 made of HDPE that covered just the tread area from the front to the rear about 3" from the ground. Worked great other than moving up and down over abrupt curbs so I removed them. Not to mention how hidious the neighbor said they looked. I didn't mind them too badly but his comment said time to take them off and build the deck skirts which works great and doesn't look bad. I think yours looks great. Good video Sir.

I really enjoy the mods you have done to this mower, I bought the same model about a year ago and noticed my right tire spins when backing up, even on level ground. I got better traction when I put the flex forks on but it still spins.Any suggestions? Could it be the tracking?

@michaeljessie1853 2 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching Darren, Check your tires air pressure I run 10 to 12 psi in the XDX. Flex Fork does helps , they will lose traction sometimes so did the SD I use to own. I’m not sure I would think all zero turn does that.

Remember that you'll always have plenty of assbytes that don't make videos and do anything to help others in any way on videos let alone in real life as they are nothing more than assbytes. Forget the jerk. Give me his name and I'll make sure I give him a shout out in one of my videos. You have a firm grasp upon French. Good job. lol Take the screw plugs off, drill a 1/4" pipe plug thread in the center of them. Screw in a 1/4" pipe plug with a 3/8" hose barb then replace them. Get a 3/8" pipe 'T' and a SD reserve tank. Make yourself a bracket to hold the reserve tank. Plug in the two wheel motor hoses to the 'T' and the 'T' to the reserve tank. Fill the reserve to the very bottom of the tank when it is as cool as it can be. When the wheel motors are hot it will push oil up into the reserve tank to probably half full. As the wheel motors cool, the cooler oil will recede back from the catch can/reserve tank into the wheel motors. Just for giggles on the seat spring frame. I would use some 1/4" fuel hose, slice it down the inside of the hose where it curves from the spool. Place it over the frame cut out edge to make sure the battery never makes contact with the frame in the event the hold down might loosen allowing the battery move backwards. Same thing for the seat frame cut out. I always use fuel hose to line the metal cut out for the fuel tank, battery opening and on mine the electrical fuse panel addition. Always great videos brother.

Did you say sd was your previous mower, is that now the xd, if so is there a difference in the deck performance with xdx, the xdx has same deck as the fasttrak, we're torn between the xd or xdx, deck performance is the deciding factor, thanks

I trade-in my 2015 Hustler Raptor SD for a 2022 Hustler Raptor XDX, yes it does have the Fastrak Deck , The XDX with the Fastrak Deck doesn’t cut many better than the SD did that’s the way I see it, as of the XD I don’t know about, I would think it cut just as good the SD did, The XD took place of the SD which you can’t new anymore. You can’t go wrong with a XD or XDX just what in your budget. Thank you Tyrone for watching and commenting.

Hello Travis, Thank you for watching, yes just a couple problems the Levers Dampers kept coming off but I fix it with tread Locker, Had a problem with the Little Battery they installed the the XDX now it wouldn’t stay charged. I replaced it with a bigger battery,I think I got about 68 hours on it now. The one thing I really dislike about XDX is it don’t have transmission oil reserve tank to make it easier to check the oil lever and add oil if needed, it would make it easier changing the transmission oil easier. I think I would do some shopping around take look at other zero turns on the market see if they have all things I want in a zero turns, on the other hand the Hustler Raptor XDX or the XD are great mowers and I do have a dealership about 5 miles from me. Right now I’ll not sure what I would do.

Don’t forget to but the oil back in the motor.
