Cool! - I got a feeling you're gonna like it. And good point - a case would be helpful - all the pieces are kinda ungainly when storing or transporting. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Nice video. I just completed this mod as well as wheel bearings. I only have a 1/3 acre lot and my S130 is only a year old and I couldn’t believe the wear on the front axles. JD must want us to replace the expensive axle once it’s out of warranty. Glad I found yours and others mod help on YT.

Hey Mike! Thanks, man. I just bought an S130 last week. The frame broke on my L118 (video coming eventually). I'm considering doing the wheel bearing upgrade on the S130 also.

@@RonBurkett great! The axle spindle has plenty of room for the two washers and needle bearing - like it was designed for them.

Great video. I just bought a DeWalt but haven't used it yet. Defiantly a better-quality saw than others on the market.

I love mine ! I was looking to see if anything changed much about them. I had a gas model, and I use this one way more than I did the gas . The bar oil leaks on mine when not in use, but its not a big deal.

Hey James! I have been very pleased with the tool. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@TOOL_TECHNICAL4 күн бұрын
it's a drip technology that essentially has a mini stopper to release oil to the bar as it spins kinda like a guinea pig or hamster water bottle works where it only releases when the little end it licked/pressed on. Your two options are to empty it after every use (which is what I do) or try storing it laying down upside down or with the oil reservoir laying on its side under the bar so gravity keeps it away from the bar. Do note to check your o-ring on the fill cap as if it's missing or comes loose or is worn away you will have tons of fun cleaning a small puddle of oil ~ Work Smart

I use to walk home from elementary school right next to this old house, everyday. It had high hedges to keep poor people out. It is a monument to segregation, not only to African American but to impoverished people also. Beautiful to look at, however, one should really realize what it was!

Incredible drone footage!!! Makes me feel like I'm a bird flying through the canyon. We r going in Sept.(2024), what were the conditions when you went? I'd be nervous to get blown off the trail! Also, how does this canyon compare to the Fjarðrargljufur canyon?? How challenging vs worth the effort?! Thanks in advance!!
@RonBurkett21 күн бұрын
Thanks, Amy! The conditions were good for us except it was rainy in the morning before we got there, but it had mostly stopped by the time we started hiking. Wind was not an issue (thankfully) during our visit. (August 26th) This canyon is more remote and much larger than Fjarðrargljufur. At Fjarðrargljufur you literally park at the mouth of the canyon and then walk up a paved path. Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful and certainly worth visiting - just more "touristy" than Múlagljúfur - and really more of a "walk" than a "hike". The hike into Múlagljúfur will take about an hour at a casual pace. It is slightly inclined but not really strenuous. BUT, the view is absolutley worth it! I'm sure you will enjoy whichever location you visit, but if I could only see one, I'd go to Múlagljúfur!

Hey Steve! First, thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate that! - if you'll look at about 1:45, you'll see that my beds are mostly 2x4's at ground level. So no, I have not noticed any damage, but I do take it easy up against them.
