First of all, thanks for the interesting video! I want to use this headset in a planetarium. This is a dome with 2 projectors and ventilation. On the other hand, I also want to use it in an auditorium for a larger audience. Now I don't know which one to choose. Omni or directional. Omni retains the timbre of the voice and the directional does not or less. However, I don't know what is best. There is not much background noise unless that projector is at a greater distance from me. At first I would have chosen the directional but since the timbre of the voice is somewhat less, I have doubts. Can you give me some advice?

Hi! When using pgm, can you split it so pgm plays back on channel A, but not on channel B? Also, is the pgm volume adjustable?
@RaycomTV3 ай бұрын
Hi, yes you can choose to have program feed on either channel A or B or both. Program audio level can be adjusted -18db to +18 db. Overall volume can be adjusted on each listening headset. Hey, you would record directly to your PC. If there is any issues with the wireless recording ,and you had record selected on your transmitters, you can also cable these directly to your PC and again transfer directly to the PCs drive. Save the transferred files in the format of your choice if you wish to save them on portable media.

Can I use a power bank with 3-5A output as an input source instead of a smart battery?
@RaycomTV5 ай бұрын
The USB-C Input provides regulated 12V into your system from wall power. This is useful for when you are stationed in one place for a while and don’t want to use batteries. Note that your USB-C power supply supports the 12V USB-C power standard and supplies enough watts. It is suggested to use a USB-C laptop-style power supply with the SPD-1.

I’ve been considering a flagpole option where I would mount two Betso bowties about 7 feet in the air. Would it be OK for me to place one about 8 inches directly above the other on the pole? Or is it important that they be spaced horizontally from each other rather than vertically?

I love your walk tests. Thank you! Did you have the Betso omni antennas oriented sideways (not pointing toward the tx) for the entire walk test? I noticed in the Deity test you pointed them toward the tx. My understanding is that the polar pattern is more sensitive when pointing towards the tx. Do you feel that it makes a difference, especially outside where you're not getting wave reflections from surfaces?
@RaycomTV7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment, we love doing these too! The Betsos should be omni like a dipole, that is a doughnut shaped polar pattern flat all around the antenna when mounted vertically so the difference you mention shouldn't make a significant difference.

What are people using for antenna masts these days?

Where is the TX located on Mandy's body? Is it in the back - with direct line of sight - or is it in the front of Mandy, with his body blocking antena path? Also, it would be interesting to see a test where Mandy would walk all the way out of rf range, no sound at all, and then play Theos Tx recording sincd, , as the idea is that tx recording is a backup for any rf problems. Finally, as it is remote controled system, with Sidus app, it would be very nice if you could check Sidus app remote control range, which in Theos case maybe even more important than RF range. Finally, I see that here there is a different positioning of bow ties antenas in the bag, here they're pointed at talent, and o Wisycom MTP61 walk test they are pointed one to each side. How much a difference it makes? Thanks for the test!

We got this from the man himself, Rich "hot sauce mouthwash" Watts: "So, all of our mics are designed, tested and specced to work at 95º humidity and from -45ºC to +45ºC, so this is all well within the operating range. We have case studies on our website of people using the mics outside in the arctic circle, and then going in to a hut/refuge and keeping them working. The 2017 would be no different. We recently had some 4660’s go across the arctic for 3 weeks working non stop, video to come out at some point, and the main comment was “they almost sound too good, we’ll have to make them sound sh**tier”
