I mean, if x approaches 0, then x^sinx so 0^sin0 Sin0 = 0, anything to the power of 0 is equal to 1. Wouldn't that be the case for 0⁰ too?

Well, anything to the power of 0 is equal to zero, but when zero to the power of zero, 0^0 it is either defined as 1 or left undefined, it depends on the contexts. In algebra and combinatorics, it is defined as 0^0 = 1. In mathematical analysis, 0^0 is sometimes left undefined. Therefore 0 to the power of 0 is indefinite

How would you do this if your ellipsoid is centered at a different location other than the origin? For instance, if the center of your ellipsoid is at (1,1,0)

If the center of the ellipsoid is not at the origin, there is a formula for it. If the center of ellipsoid is (u, v, w ) then the formula will be square of x minus u divided by a squared + square of y minus v divided by b squared + square of z minus w divided by c squared is equal to 1
