Thanks for the video. I am rebuilding a wrecked 2017 and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what the energy absorber attached to. All of the plastic in front of the A/C condenser was in little bity pieces that I put in a 5 gallon bucket when I took it apart. Aha! It attaches to the grill instead of the actual impact bar. Another engineering feat by FORD!

An awesomely detailed walk through tutorial but I do have one question. I ended up breaking those same flimsy clips as you on that overhead hose lol. Anyways I’m having trouble finding the part. It’s the segment removal @3:45 Did you end up finding replacement clips or did you replace that hose segment entirely? I assume it’s sold as a complete hosing unit.

Oh a couple more things. I have the nylaflume bags for inside the pack. They are so noisy especially early in the morning finding stuff and repacking, in fact other hikers got upset at me about the noise. Now I just keep my extra clothes in a garbage bag and my sleeping bag in a waterproof compression sack so it takes up less room in my pack. I have a zpacks arc haul, I love it but I find it so uncomfortable to wear. There is the AT THRU HIKER dude that makes these awesome utility fanny packs that you actually thread your backpack hip belt right through it. It is so helpful, especially at water stops or firemaking or pooping I keep those things right in there along with my headlamp and snacks, this way I am never fishing through my pack orctaking my pack off to get to things I need while hiking and it allows you one maybe 2 less bags. I will give you the link in a different comment.

Awesome video! I love new hampsha! It is one my favorite state next to Maine. Beautiful scenery, thanks for capturing these moments while being consumed by inescapable humidity and the swarms of flies. As you may know, We have moved to Maine, anything we can do to support you on your upcoming thru let me know, we can send food boxes, gear, take in gear from you, hey whatever you need. I love your videos I have been watching for awhile and very excited for you. I noticed that OR HAT with the sun block attachment does that come with a bug net attachment for the front? Do you know of a hat that has both?
@KrizAkoniАй бұрын
Thanks AG! That hat does not come with a bug net and I do not think one is available. A regular head net goes over it nicely though. I’m not aware of a hat that has both. Once I get rolling through Maine I’ll let you know where I’m at. 🤓

I stayed at Eliza Brook shelter with the bubble in 2019. So so crowded. I can't believe I hiked all that! 😂 I almost think it would be easier in the snow. At least it's soft if you fall. 🤦♀

Lovely video. Falls were beautiful. Funny how the trail is so different depending on the season. Sometimes it seems easier in deep snow because you cant see the rocks (no mental intimidation) and the right type of snow can actually make rocky spots easier. Careful in those high humidity situations. If you are drinking a lot and sweating a lot I dont need to tell you that you need electrolytes.

Yes, there are good tent sites right up the hill from the shelter. All of the shelters in MD have co-located tent sites.
