Um no the KLM took off with the permission of atc tower but the crash is due to atc error

Atc made just two mistakes. First one was that he told the pan am to turn too tightly, which was impossible for a 747. That did not even end up mattering, since the pan am pilots missed the turn. The atcs second mistake was using incorrect wording while comminicating to the klm, which the pilots interpreted as "clear for takeoff" (there was also some interference on the frequency). The crash had many causes. Bomb threats at las palmas, deep fog at tenerife, the tower having no radar, high traffic, pan am slight pilot error, unlucky frequency interference, atc incorrect wording and klm pilots misinterpretation, to name a few. You cant name one cause because they all played their part at this accident.

Fedex 80 was mainly due to pilot erroe and the landing gear only collapsed once the applies stress was beyond the design limit

I think that the real reason for air florida flight 90 crashing was due to improper deiccing, not pilot error.

It was both, the plane had not been deiced in an unsafe amount of time, and the pilots didn’t want to leave the takeoff queue, so they taxied very close to the MD-80 in front of them to melt the ice off of the wings. However it did not work (and may have made the problem worse)

This movie is great! Just saying, the Air Traffic Control probably needs a bit a refining and better scripting to make it realistic, but overall, the movie looks quite good to me! I'd like to help out with this one day!
