Yes, big bores are a lot of fun! The 460 Wby is probably the least expensive of the really powerful big bores. I have a 500 A-Square which is, essentially, a 460 Wby necked up to 50 caliber, shooting 600 gr. bullets and is a bit more powerful. Two well known bolt action rifles and cartridges that are more powerful than the 460 Wby and the 500 A2 are the 577 Tyrannosaur and the 600 Overkill. There are a few other less well known ones as well, just considering sporting rifles and cartridges that are intended for hunting purposes. And the 700 Nitro Express, which is a double rifle cartridge. The 600 Nitro double rifle/cartridge may now have a bit more energy than current 460 Wby factory loads. But, the 460 Wby can be loaded to exceed the 600 Nitro in ft. lbs. of energy. Foot pounds of energy, however, though important, is not the be all/end all barometer for the killing power or effectiveness of big bores, or other cartridges for that matter. I also have a 416 Wby Mag. and several other “big bores”. A true big bore begins at about .458 caliber, and up, in my opinion. But, all are a lot of fun. Enjoy!

Carried Glock 22 for years on duty...I also own the Shield 40 and a Shield Plus. The Shield 40 shoots very nice for its size and no problems hitting with it. You clearly are not gripping the gun with much force and it is jumping around in your hand.. With any smaller gun shooting higher powered rounds (40, 357, 10mm and even some hot 9mms) you have to grip the gun. You need more trigger time with it. There is zero things wrong with the Shield 40 and it shoots as good as my Glock 22 and 23 when it comes to recoil.. Have a good day

EDIT* Accidentally said the Mark V was produced in Germany for the first 21 years, but meant to say 11 years.... the production in West Germany stopped after 1970, then moved to Howa in Japan from 1971 to 1994. Also they are currently made in Wyoming not Cali.

Norma has for many years made the Weatherby ammo. As an Alaskan for 30 years and guided brown bear hunts the 460 Wby is very commonly used in Alaska. It isn't at all to go into a gun shop in Alaskan then see a Weatherby in 460. I have own the Weatherby in 378

Hi I noticed you were a smaller channel so I decided to click when it was in my recommended. I think instead of having that initial interaction for the intro in the first 15 seconds you should start the video with the firing montage that comes after the first bit. It’ll captivate peoples attention better. Also if you want to put in a little bit more time into editing, don’t be afraid to start a sentence over again, don’t be afraid to make more cuts and just cut out moments where your point didn’t come across exactly right. Instead of saying ummm and putting points together like that, just start the sentence over and edit the wandering sentence out. Some people may like the solid one video cut, but I don’t think that’s what the general audience likes. It’s a perk of the editing. Also when you mentioned the uniqueness of the shells you should cut to you holding the shells they take and a more typical gauge in your other hand. Just some feedback to potentially modify the content for improvement and a wider audience.

I can instantly tell when someone is new to the game whenever 7.62 NATO, 7.62 x 54R, or 7.62 x 39 (and for that matter 7.62 x 25 or 7.62 Nagant) is the topic of discussion. The fkn newbies always show themselves and mistake all of these. They see 7.62 and think it is all the same. Why? How does this happen? With something as critical as firearms, be accurate and specific or just keep sitting on your couch and play those video games. Fuck.....

I was really turned off by Stover. I purchased a new double defense this past year it gave me nothing but nightmares I would load the gun disengages safety. It would not fire however when I opened it again and closed it and disengage and safety it would fire customer service was terrible, I am hoping maybe by watching this video I might give him another chance. Thank you.

Sorry to hear that, dang that's disappointing that the customer service wasn't a good experience. At the end of the day a firearm, is ultimately made by people, like most other manufactured goods, so there is always a percentage that will have problems.
