You can get banned when using google while dueling on ranked/unranked modes. It's completely fine to use all possible resources while playing singleplayer & learning (unless you are trying to beat a record of any kind - then it's not cool to cheat ;))

A tip for Chile, our secondary roads starts with a letter a go from A in the north to Y in the southest part of the country, so with that letter u can easily guest the latitude.

For anyone interested that Luxembourg bollard appears also in Germany and Switzerland yes but the Portugal one has a more diagonal black strip if I recall correctly. Switzerland is easily recognisable due to the camera sitting lower than every other county except Japan. Luxembourg used to be a fairly simple plonk until Germany got added more extensively. Now you've got some nasty 50/50s unless you know this quirky little tip: the white rectangle inside the black strip will be fixed with 3 nails/pins in Luxembourg. In Germany it wil be fixed with 2, but often not as visible. Obviously you wont always be able to see those pins though.

I have a good tip for distinguishing between montenegro and albania. First of all, obviously the license plate, but most importantly, the montenegrian language is slavic, albanian is not. Albanian is similar to turkish, and montenegro is much greener than albania. Im czech, so maybe distinguishing slavic languages is easier for me Thank you for this amazing video, helped a lot ❤

In Taiwan, almost every building structure has an "address plate" (~15cm x ~10cm, normally white on blue background) fixed on its facade. There is county/city name, street name, and number on it. Some big buildings even custom made theirs on larger plates. In unban areas, unfortunately, most plates are blocked by signs, decorations, etc. In rural areas, they are more visible from streets. At kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q8udZtJzzM-qqqM.html , if you zoom in those houses, you may be able to see those plates.

That sign you saw on the last round which was in the middle of the bend had the name of the Fjord on it ;) Also your Icelandic pronunciation is very good. Often wrong, but for someone who doesn't speak it you've got the right idea about how it works, which is to mostly pronounce every letter properly and not skip letters or put little emphasize on them.

Another fun video, with some impressive rounds! Fun to see you picked up on the need to zoom out on the French round, most of the locations on the map are in places visible on a pretty zoomed out level. With a better seed I am sure you will be shaving several minutes off your PB.

“The Moon Under Water” features in George Orwell’s “The Road to Wigan Pier”. Hence the homage by this Wigan pub which is near the “pier”. The pub in the book was described as in some ways idyllic and has inspired several with that name outside Wigan too.

4:55 You were looking right at a speed limit sign... 15:54 That rusty ladder pole is Turkey exclusive. Then at 16:00 that "F" shaped pole with the elaborate framework is, too. 20:10 You referred to Luxembourg meta a couple of times; what exactly did you see? 20:35 Austrian version usually has a nipple on top whereas in Slovenia it rarely does. You can see this one in Serbia and N. Macedonia too.
@geotelloth3933
@geotelloth3933 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for these tips, really helpful! The speed limit signs I'm still getting my head around, I know Canada uses km/h so I'm guessing you're not going to have 25 signs in Canada. Good to know about those Turkey poles, I'll try and remember that! For Luxembourg, those bollards are somewhat unique to Luxembourg (with the white dash). I think you can occasionally see them in other countries (e.g. Switzerland) but those bollards combined with the landscape can only be Luxembourg. By nipple do you mean the black part on top? Both Austria and Slovenia both have the black bit, but that Austria sometimes has black dashes instead of red. My big mistake in that round was the yellow sign in the distance (which Austria doesn't have) and the road quality - I paid too much attention to the scenery in that one!

Nice video, I've been grinding Christmas island recently. I have to tell you that sometime in the past year they must have added a bunch of the annoying locations that occur today. These can include water locations, spots like trekker/trail roads are are impossible to 5k, along with increased frequency of roads such as north/south baseline or east/west baseline which are super tough to 5k as well. I wish they would remove water locations and any locations that aren't actually on a road. Took me probably 75 attempts to get a 5k in 18 minutes, then hundreds more to get a 25k in 1 min 48 seconds. I did get it eventually though :)
