@@rioforce I especially like how it uses the strengths of Fountain as John August points out in his KZfaq video about Fountain instead of what most programs do by forcing you to manually format stuff... while still giving you a nice preview while editing!

Tried VSCode. It's ok. I've also used most of the others, the full paid versions, the free versions, the weird 'whole new approach' versions. But I like it best when it's just me & the screenplay page, that looks like a real screenplay page, so I don't have to think about anything but the screenplay. So I'm pretty fond of Fade In, though it lacks sharp outlining. But my favorite simple Fountain editor so far is Beat. It's great for editing, outlining, index cards, and the environment is totally about screenwriting from a non-techie perspective, so I find it much cleaner & more visually satisfying that VSCode. But that's just me.

I tried screen writing a little bit ago and couldnt find any good programs that were free. This one looks quite scary and a lot to work with but it looks amazing, ill try it out!

It’s actually quite easy and nice once you get it set up. Literally just finding the extensions button, installing the two plugins, and bam you’re in

I'm working on a stop-motion animation now, so expect some BTS from that pop up soon, but in the meantime, what topic would you like to see me cover in a tutorial video?

For simplicity, lower heat, lower cost, the LED bulb is a solid choice. I wonder if adding some barn doors would help it behave more like your fresnel lamp?
@rioforce27 күн бұрын
Probably! It's got a relatively soft falloff, so it wouldnt be a sharp and distinct cutoff with the barndoor, but then, so does the Fresnel.

I think the 60 Watt made the colors look a lot “fuller” which I think looks a lot better
@rioforce27 күн бұрын
The color temperature of that light was significantly different, so that might also add to it. The fresnel light was way yellower. But the 60 watt is still a valid choice! I've only ever used that in my brickfilms- never the fresnel or the 300 watt led.
@simonlegosson708227 күн бұрын
@@rioforceThat probably plays in to it but I think the heavier shadows and less prominent reflections on the 60 Watt made the colors pop a little more.

You are clearly a good animator, but don’t use your talent to spread this hateful crap. Being Christian is fine, I’m not against your religion but using it as an excuse for homophobia and for hatred towards people who don’t believe what you believe is horrible

Great video! I've planned to make my own project wiht my canon 600D but I don't have laptop yet. I have my base pc but I would need extra pc for stop motion. Should I buy mac or windows? I've used stop motion studio pro with my phone but with pc its little bit different and I can't spend so much money to dragonframe yet. Should I just buy some good affordable laptot and buy stop motion studio pro for it?
