I heard this version years ago and have desperately trying to find it. It's literally how I feel internally. My mother and her ex were so bad that the only out I saw was either killing myself or them. In 2019 her ex ended up in prison for what he did to me and that is the only thing she is sorry for. Not ruining my ability to have a childhood. Not for turning me into her personal maid. Not for calling me a liar whenever I said something. Not for beating me or taking my voice. Just that she enabled him to go as far as he did

I first discovered this song over a decade ago. I instantly downloaded it. This song is purely cinematic as an entire movie or an intense ending scene can be written around this spine chilling, hair raising collaboration remix. In fact, that's exactly what I did. I began writing a script for a movie based around the game I was fascinated with at the time, and this song was perfect for the end scene sequence which would lead into a part 2. Unfortunately, my script was never accepted as someone else had already done what I had in mind but with much more capital to push it further. That movie eventually became a real life Hollywood production which I still enjoyed.
