When I was a kid I got fascinated with how this was done. Now it’s more digital. What a talent to be able to to do this.

Why are the comments on the vid concerning slaves that put barrels of artifacts in a basement turned off Couldnt be to race bait toward whites, now could it If people will notice that is always the case wherever you find it Those that smear entire groups of people and attempt to cause unrest or even violence; try to shut down true comments concerning actual facts and above board debate THE BRUTALITY OF ENSLAVEMENT was part of the caption Some who claim to teach or present are really instigators, just in quiet places and in disguise, so they think Being seen and heard more all the time for their true purpose

My great(x4) grandmother (according to my family’s tree) was a princess in the tribe and she married a French soldier to help create peace and then two generations back the French in my family moved to America for the American dream. My mother and grandmother and great grandmother carried our native traditions down to me. As an adult I’m seeking more knowledge on my past culture, but I’m very “white washed” the native in my blood is thin and very little. I feel like it is kind of wrong for me to try and continue the culture without appearing native.. I love the culture and it feels like home to practice but I feel like I’m taking culture that’s not mine because I’m not visibly native

Day Peckinpaugh is hands down the coolest boat I have ever seen. I love how it's almost a scaled down version of a lake freighter. Everything about her was incredible. I wish she was in prime and pristine condition today.

I just listened to a presentation by this author at the Society of the Cincinnati. There was some talk about whether he has/had descendants, and Kelly focused on lineal descendants, but there’s another kind. My seventh great grandfather and Arnold were cousins, his father being a brother to mine. I was curious about this society and whether I might be eligible for membership, especially since this book highlights the many glorious achievements that Arnold had, before the downfall. Right at the end of the talk the emcee made a point of saying that I (we) don’t qualify. Well, FU to them. What did their family members do that was half as valuable, brave, courageous etc etc as mine? I’ll bet it didn’t compare. PS- if you’re wondering why I left this comment here instead of the Society’s post, it’s because they have shut off all comments.

Brilliant video indeed, thank you. I'm and old timer now and I think I may have missed my vocation in life. I''m a sculptor and have been sculpting the human form, and things equestrian, since I was four. Human anatomy has interested me since an early age, (I have 8 anatomy books, 2 medical, 1 for my profession and the rest art) but due to circumstances of life, which John Lennon referred to in a song written for his son Sean, "Life occurs between the plans you make," it was not to be. I learned anatomy when training to be an orthotic/prosthetic technician and have used it to improve my works, in terms of sculpting and drawing. Love to do a course on this if I could get a sponsor.

The Onondagas could use a way to contribute to their sustenance as a people. What happened to the salt spring that was once theirs? Is it possible the land is not improved? If not, might they be able to harvest a quantity of salt for sale? Is this a consideration for the nation? Land is needed by those who live simply and sustainably. Revenues are needed to provide for the people. Just thinking of them...

This very canal mothership built in 1921 served her intended purpose until around 1994. She also survived a U Boat attack off the coast and a criminal sinking by a former disgraced and disgruntled employee around 2009 I believe. She remains tied down in neglect by NYS in Waterford NY in 2023...She deserves better then this. Donate her to a real canal or maritime museum instead of the scuttle or scrap yard. NYS makes me absolutely sick....

Now that I’m an adult, I hate that I never learned the beautiful indigenous American history that spanned thousands of years on this continent, but rather the short history of European-American history, as if history only started with them, and I hate that European-American history was cast in a light of admiration than what it truly was: corruption.

Haudenosaunee just sounds nicer. Been using it ever since I first heard it because it just rolls of the tongue. Respectful and pleasing to the ear? Yes please. I feel like as someone who grew up in the NYS education system we spent a lot of time learning about the Haudenosaunee in school (I still remember making a longhouse diorama for class) but I'd have loved if we could have had an actual representative come and talk about it instead of the watered down version we get (though admittedly it's much better than other states from what I've seen others share).

I was there for that speech. My parents took my brothers and I to see and hear Dr. King. They wanted to educate us. My mother told me after his speech, Martin Luther King Jr. came down and spoke to my brothers and I and shook our hands. I was very young at the time so I have no remberence except what my mother told be. I wish they had pictures or videos. We were up front next to the baracades
