I have 2001 Honda civic and I've got the hyprid speedometer (the one with Ami logo) When I plugged it in some wires heated up in the blue wire and it didn't work, I tried to plug in the old one and it didn't work as well. Only lights worked. Can anyone tell me what could be the problem

For any people that are still wondering about the engine light after the swap, I disconnected my battery and hooked it back up and it didn't come back on. So my guess is that if there's nothing wrong with your engine, it won't come back on but if there is something wrong, it'll come back on. Also the maintenance required light is super easy to reset, like you can't mess up. You just hold the trip button down on the cluster and turn the key to the accessory mode (mode II) and just keep holding it til the light goes off, should take about ten seconds. Hope I was helpful

I honestly have to thank you! I’ve been searching how to do this for so long. I clicked on this video to see what the plugs looked like on the ex cluster but apparently you were trying to do the exact same thing as I was!

I got a 02 EX and on my Green plug i have lots of brown and 0 blues. Every how to is for the same blue wires. Anyone happen to have the same problem as me ?

Here is a tip disconnect the battery hold the brake to the floor for a few seconds the Reconnect the battery

Yo hice esto tal y como en el video, Mi Honda Civic DX 01 (Canada) y el cluster es igual a los dos del video. Mi honda tiene un problema en el DRL y me marcaba en el tablero pero al hacer el Swap en el nuevo me marca el Cruise Control y no se como apagar esa luz y aparte me sobraron dos cables uno Rojo/Blanco el conector azul y uno Rosado en el conector Verde, me funciono todo el cluster pero tengo dos problemas... No funciona los seguros de las puertas y no enciende el radio, como lo soluciono?

Just an FYI, you cant do an LED swap on the 03-05 cluster so no cool colors lol

Polifibras: NO lo creo. Yo estoy justo en eso: apenas hice la Tabla en Word para identificar Cables por color para un 2004 Civic LX AT (3 Círculos) en negro/azul ya que conseguí el de un 2002 Civic AT EX (4 Círculos) blanco/? CANADIENSE que trae los 2 Conectores azul/verde y 3cm de Cables; así que puedo ver colores del AT EX. Conecté directo y NO reacciona; no tiene Corriente y lo desconecté. He intentado sacar los pin y NO LO LOGRO aún. En el de 2002 el TERCERO que es COMBINADO separa la Temperatura al Lado izquierdo y el de Gasolina al Lado derecho. Si ves el del Vídeo los tiene vacíos. Espero funcione la idea de Brandon Gonzalez para el AT. OJO: busca en otro Comentario la Respuesta que habla de Diagramas; aún no lo he ido a buscar Ahí. Te deseo Éxito.

When I did this swap I just added 04-05 pigtails into the existing ones so now I can swap back and forth to dx and ex cluster
