I think you’ll find it was originally released/written by Colourbox in 1982. This Mortal Coil version came out in ‘86 😃

Love Love the art! Love Your art. Fell in love with you and your sound back in the 90's and had the Immense privilege of seeing you perform on the Loser tour at a tiny venue called Numbers, a legendary nightclub in Htx. When you hit the scene I was so excited to finally have another artist making music my body understood (the other being Mr. Waits). I'm so grateful for your music. Thank you so much for breathing your, always fresh, colorfully tilted prism of sound and thought into my listless jib. And I know you're playing gargantuvenues now but hopefully, one day, you'll visit Htx again and throw up an impromptu (post Cynthia Woods Pavilion money-maker) appearance at Numbers again. ;⁠)
