Neyland Stadium, University of TN has been undergoing some (much needed) renovations. It now holds 101,915 (Previously 102,455 maxed out at 109,061 in 2004) and holds the record for loudest College Stadium at 137 decibels. It’s quite an atmosphere on Game Days.

Awesome idea by Danny White to make it an orange-out game. From ordering those replacement goalposts in advance to requesting everyone to wear only orange, he had faith that storming the field would be the result of this game

Did Neylan lose some seats to makes room for that big TV?
@troywilson98858 ай бұрын
Neyland lost about 500 seats during the recent renovations. They added it last season, and it is one of the greatest additions to the stadium in history in my opinion. I can remember having seats in the south endzone and not being able to see the jumbotron because it was behind me
@snakedoctor53978 ай бұрын
@@troywilson9885 thanks. I’ve been to Neyland four times as a UGA fan and remember it being completely enclosed with seats in the upper deck.

@@snakedoctor5397 quite a bit has changed since the last time UGA played in Neyland. It’s honestly nice. We have a rich history, but I love bringing back long lost traditions while also creating new ones. The gameday experience is so much better than it was even just two years ago

@troywilson98858 ай бұрын
You’re 100% right. It’s alarming at how few live-ball penalties have been called against Tennessee’s opponents this year
@floydhogue1488 ай бұрын
@@troywilson9885 it might be worse than you think. Everybody knows about the Florida, Alabama, and 3 quarters of the Missouri game going without any live ball penalties being called against them. That's 11 quarters. It gets lost somehow, but in UT's opening game no live ball penalties were called against Virginia either. Making it actually 15 quarters over 4 games, with no live ball penalties called against opponents, this year. It's alredy flies in the face of logic, and now we have Georgia coming in, predictability to increase those numbers.
@troywilson98858 ай бұрын
@@floydhogue148 I assume that nobody paid attention to it against Virginia because we won so big, but that’s so interesting. Those numbers did increase in the Georgia game. Even though penalties did not influence the outcome of the UGA game, it’s still so alarming. I’m still confused about the holding penalty that negated Doneiko’s pick. And they showed a missed facemask call on replay

I’m taking it all in tbh. I was in row 9 for this game. I got row 1 for Austin Peay and UTSA, which was really cool. I actually prefer to be around rows 20-30. Those are the best views in my opinion because there aren’t quite as many pom poms, the seats are a bit steeper so you don’t have to look at the back of somebody’s head as much, and you get to see plays form a lot better. If you wanna see what a view from row 25 (my favorite row), check out my video on the Bama game from last year

Quick thing I wanna say: I have not heard any updates on Walter Nolen as of the upload of this video. Just like the Bru McCoy injury from two weeks ago, it was nearly impossible to tell that it was bad until Nolen stayed down for a considerable amount of time. Then, the cart of course came out onto the field, and that’s when everyone in the stadium knew that it was a bad one. Really hope to see Nolen back on the field as soon as possible, hopefully sometime this season of course. Tough to see, especially when it’s a kid that everyone here in Knoxville got to know as a recruit
