my good friend Jakob, how many hours do you practice daily. for you to be this good at piano (thinking about your other posts here on this channel such as your Chopin etudes) you have to practice like AT LEAST 4 hours a day.
@JakobArnar

I do around 3-4 minimum rn but used to do 6+. But its really only about how you practice not how much :)

Absolutely masterful playing. The maturity of this performance shines through and you have developed immensely as a musician and especially as an artist! The interpretation sings, and is incredibly balanced and stable, the melody breathes freely and yet is wonderfully poised. You manage to make so many differences in color and you shape the melody with so much depth. I love the callback to when you first started ! So proud of you and congratulations! : D

Can you release a google doc or something similar of the songs you've played since the beginning of your piano progress? I want to immitate your progress, but I dont know where to start. Also, how did you learn music theory? Did you use music books? If so, could you also say which music books you've used since the beginning till now?
@JakobArnar
@JakobArnar 2 ай бұрын
I dont think thats a good idea lol. Copying someone else's path won't work i think because i always just picked the music i loved most and based on my level. If you want to play a chopin waltz you should pick the one that you love most, not the one i loved most :)

Yoo insane, just wanted to see some of the performances of people to get inspiration on how to play this, but 3 years is pretty insane. You must be really talented or play like 3 hours a day minimum. I wish I had the motivation to do that last thing. I always quit after playing like 20-30 minutes and there are days I don’t practice at all. You really changed my perspective tho. Maybe I should practice more 😂😂😂 And btw do you know why there are so many Korean comments? Did u get a shoutout or something I really want to know.
