In one of your videos you mention 2 versions of the script. Where can I see them?

I just discovered and watched all 9 of your CMBYN videos. Inciteful and informative! I'm subscribing in hopes you will eventually get to continue the series (it's been 1 1/2 years since the last one). If you do get to continue, may I suggest one on costume design and perhaps another on the importance of tactile/sensory images (including food) in the film. Thank you for your work!

Thanks for your comment! Around the time that I unsuccessfully tried my second upload of the 10th video, running into too many copyright claims, I was burning out on the film. I still love CMBYN, but I thought I needed some space from it for a while so that I didn’t overdose on it. We’ll see! I will try and get permission for the tenth one and if that works, will keep going! Your ideas are definitely worthwhile!! Cheers!

And how long do we need to wait for part 10? All I can say is "Can't stand the silence. I need to [hear from] you."

Okay, good one! I’ve tried uploading twice, the second one having been edited more with me hoping that it would attract less copyright claims, but in fact it attracted more of them… so I’m not entirely sure what to do next! I’m concerned that if I appeal, it may draw attention to stuff that’s already up and endanger it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Your careful analysis sheds light on the relationship between both novels and the possibility of a sequel. As a reviewer, you are always positive but never fawning. This is refreshing and I encourage you to continue your intellectually beautiful work.

I'm late to the CMBYN bandwagon. I totally missed it in 2017, but found it in summer of 2020 when I was looking for something to watch during the pandemic. I was totally blown away by this beautiful film. Within a week, I had bought not only the DVD of the movie but the CD of the wonderful soundtrack. I discovered your series of videos today and enjoyed watching them in order. That is until I reached the last one, only to discover it was not available for viewing. I hope this issue can be resolved, but what I really wanted to know was the name of the piece Elio plays for Mounier (sp?) and Isaac. Can anyone tell me what it is. I will be watching to see if the rest of these videos appear. They are great!

On March 16, La Reppublica ran a story catching up with Guadagnino. In regards to CMBYN II, he said "I was going to America to meet a writer I love very much, whose name I don't want to mention, to talk about the second part. Unfortunately everything is canceled. Of course, it's a great pleasure to work with Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stulhbarg, Esther Garrel, and the other actors. They will all be there in the new film." So, sounds like one we're all out from under COVID-19, Luca is ready to get going again on the next story. Or in the meantime, maybe Luca and the writer can get this going via FaceTime! Here's a link to the story: rep.repubblica.it/pwa/intervista/2020/03/16/news/luca_guadagnino-251474817/?ref=RHPPBT-BH-I0-C8-P5-S1.8-T1

I know it doesn't look like it, but this was built back in the late 1960"s to early 1970's during the Nixon administration. We were advanced way back then until the liberals wanted to give everything away to people who do not deserve it and then we became voluntarily poor. We couldn't help anybody not even ourselves. Remember the malaise of the 1970's
