As someone who lived in Delaware: the beach and boardwalks are nice in the summer but if you don’t want to spend money or are coming in the winter… just don’t come here

When we lived in Louisiana, we used to go to Biloxi, or Gulfport for vacation, since Louisiana doesn't have much in the way of sandy beaches. This was before the casinos were built, so the place wasn't overdeveloped. I remember we would eat at The Friendship Inn, primarily a seafood restaurant and they had coin operated dolphins you could ride.
