What's the name of the theme music? It was used in commercials for Sportscreme from around that time period.

I actually had a Cousin Mike. He passed away about five years ago. He’s not this guy. Always a treat to see Baron von Krupp in action. I didn’t realize that the Sheik was still wrestling at this time. He was still very dangerous. He feuded with legends like Bobo Brazil, Edouard Carpentier, and Butcher Vachon. Bronco Lubich had flown in from Dallas to officiate the tag match with the Spoiler but he got hold of some bad shellfish that day at lunch and was unable to answer the bell so to speak.

Bad News Allen really went to work on the stomach of Diamond. Working on him relentlessly. Gyrating that stomach claw hold!

I remember meeting Yoko (Kokina) at this card and was surprised how short he was. I'm 6'3" and he was a few inches shorter than I was.

Also notice how Angel of Death was billed from Death Valley before Taker ever debuted in the WWF.

I remember attending these cards at the Bellemont in Baton Rouge. Could never figure out who The Executioner was. I remember Kevin Von Erich was advertised quite heavily in an effort to draw fans and everyone knew he wasn't going to appear. When they announced that he was unable to make it the guy near us started yelling, "That's BULL-shit!" If you listen closely you can hear him around 29:13 😆

This was professional wrestling at it's very best. Lou Thesz, Gordon Solie, Dory Funk Jr, Jack Briscoe. All legends. "Trying to get on a bicycle that doesn't exist" - Gordon Solie. I was still in junior high school when this fantastic wrestling match took place. I wish that I had a time machine. Great memories.

Hot-hard-rod, rowdy Rod Piper... You could tell how much Piper liked the physical sensation of humili-punishing a jobber in front of a small studio crowd...
