Beautiful car... To this day, no car comes close. Highly regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever made. And to think how young the designer was.. An absolute stroke of genius, never to be repeated. ❤💪

Nice video and car. Very rare that such an old one survived. Here in western Europe they are all rotten away. Since I am 21 I have such (GTV6 2.5) a car. The first one was also rotten. Then I bought a good one in Lübeck, Germany. It was hit from behind by also a GTV6 on my birthday 👿 during a Alfa Romeo Club tour with 50 Alfa's through the province. I took it apart and saved most parts. I bought an extra one for €400 for parts. And lastly I bought a good one with a/c and I took it apart to restore it. That was 19 years ago..... Now I am converting one of my stables into a workshop for myself and then I can start the restoration. So I have most GTV6 parts triple. I really miss the drive and the sound from the car. A bit spartanic but a big joy to drive. Regards from the Ardennes

I bought a silver 2 Litre italian import off a shady street place in Munich 1983. She was pretty sick, but we managed to get her back onto her wheels. While that we found out she had been 'fitted' with all kinds of models GTV parts. Also an damperless exhaust system. People were sometimes counting down rallyelike at traffic lights. I was 19 years old and I will never forget the wonderful fragrance of the old interior, touch of the wooden wheel, form and breathing of the Bialbero and the brass we played all around the Lago di Garda. Like an italian Barone I felt. 🌻😊

Sorry, I don't have plans. We started with an Engine stand. Then cut it and added some Tube and angle iron. I have loaned it out, but maybe soon. I can take details and measurements. Scott

Hi Scott! Nick again. I laugh when you said you mixed up the 2 pieces on the front and. My dad used to always say everything’s easy when you know how to do it. He was a auto mechanic. Non-alpha back in 7879 when Mike and his brother bought the alphas he used to laugh at them. He’d probably change his mind now if he was still around. he loved fishing more than cars. I’m kind of the same, but I think nobody can resist. Nice old cars.

Nice car. Unfortunately your car has the same problem as every restored 105 coupe I've seen. My 1971 series 2 1750 came from the factory with mastic sealing at the back end of the gutter where the gutter ends and the gutter trim curves around into the belt line trim. The mastic is to prevent water running off the roof and into the belt line trims. My car has been sealed all its life and it still got (fortunately not bad) corrosion around the screw holes.

Sadly soon all gas cars will be banned in EU and USA! In France they have a new banning law for ICE cars called SCHLABOUBVE and in Switzerland the HESCHLAVVO law! In Scandinavian countries soon there will be a so called SMORVERBIDEN law. In Germany from 2027 the new BABVVO and TEBBVO laws by the green peoples party will bann all gas cars from public streets only exception will be professional commuter trips and state-certified transports)!!!
@1705Enzo3 ай бұрын
That is nonsense! Why are you circulating such information? Germany as an example is saying no production of gas cars after 2030, however, that doesn’t mean you cannot drive them anymore. Young- Oldtimers have special rights towards heritage sites, and they get taxed differently, also there is no emissions test needed for those, please hold your horses dude..
