I started with Close to My Heart years ago. The reason that I switched to Stampin Up was for the red rubber stamps. They give you a much sharper image. The photopolymer stamps from both companies do not give me that nice sharp image. Every Stampin Up demonstrator that I have taken in person or online classes from, told me to use my piercing mat or my catalog as a cushion with their photopolymer stamps. I do like CTMH magnetic ink pads. So much easier for me to open with my arthritic hands.❤

Me is always thold ,the red rubber stamps have a cushion from there own. And the photopolymere stamps haven't. Thats why they need a cushion! I was thinking to give you those tip for a soort of help.

That’s interesting! I was told they didn’t and I get a better impression without the cushion than when I was using the cushion. Maybe it was something to do with the stamper?

Just wish Close to my Heart had scrapbooks more like Creative Memories has. I bought 7 Creative Memories books and love them.

I use the foam mat when using clear stamps because it comes out very nice, I use Stampinup products.

Interesting! I find a hard surface gives me a much better image when using SU stamps.

Amy the sheet you showed first has a die that cuts those cups out. I haven't tried it yet with my set but I have seen it done. I can't wait to see what you make with this line. So much fun to see what products you bought.

Nice & simple layout! Sweet pictures with your daughter. I have found that using sketches allows me to scrapbook much faster. I really like using them. TFS

Embellishing is the hardest part for me too 😂 I love how you chose the glimmer paper for the outline of the letters ❤ I have those same Alpha stickers from my Persnickety Box 😂 arching the "hello" and adding the dots is PERFECT! The colours on your layout make a very pretty combo and I love how you used the embossed cardstock across the centre. I have many embossing folders which I struggle to find ways to use on my pages so this has inspired me to get them out and play around with them. Did you see the video I posted yesterday about the exclusive CTMH scrapbook kits that will be available beginning tomorrow in my new website? LOTS of great scrapbooking products will be coming all summer long! And in September SU will be launching scraobook kits very similar to what CTMH offered! 🤗

I was a Demo for 3 years. Paper Pumpkin Kits sometime will also have other things that are not cards-treat holders sometimes....Never know what you will get. When I switched to CTMH I had 3 years worth of Paper Pumpkin kits....
