Possible Issue - Spare tire on Titan is held up by mini chain hoist to raise & lower. Mine tried to malfunction. It would lower 3 inches then start to raise up again. UP down Up down. What the heck. SOLUTION: chain had fallen through center hole of wheel and was hanging down below the tire. Link by link stuffed the chain back up into the tire until no chain hanging out / down. All inside / above tire. Then it lowered as advertised. Good luck. Took 20 minutes and alot of rolling on ground to figure it out. BTW my jack kit had two mini wheel stops / chock blocks. Cool

My hoist is fucked up. I turn it counter clockwise and it starts lower down a few inches, THEN it starts to come back UP as I continue turning counter clockwise. It returns to the full raised position until I cannot turn it counter clockwise any longer. I don’t want to force it and risk breaking the hoist. WTF IS GOING ON?

Rear is jacked under axle and not from-side of truck. That is why the long extension is provided - so the jack can be under the rear axle an operated from rear of truck. There is no place on rear frame where the jack will grip safely. No matter where you put it it will lift on one of its “Humps” not safe. Suggest Correct this video or Take it down before somebody lifts a Nissan Titan using the bodywork or the frame at the rear & the jack slips.
