Hey mama so happy for you! I have two boys and it’s the best! I just wanted to recommend you not drive with the car seat in your car until you get much closer. If you get into an accident with the seat in the car it will have to be replaced. Love your video!

I’m so excited for you!!!! I really hope you have the smoothest labor and delivery with a speedy recovery. ❤ the hospital usually provides the stuff for you but I would really take your Frida post-partum undies. The hospital gives you the most thickest pads. And baby only needs one outfit because majority of the time they are checking up on him and they will want him with just his shirt on. I think you are pretty much set. ❤

I would definitely pack a sound machine! We brought ours for each of our three kids’ births/hospital stays. It was so nice to drown out the hallway noise at night and try to get quality rest (as much as possible given how often you’re interrupted 🙃). We always got comments from the nurses saying how smart it was to have that with us.

Best of luck with the birth and postpartum period! I just gave birth in February and had a veryyy difficult time postpartum (I have MS too). It’s easier now at six months. I’m sure you will do well with it you seem very prepared! ❤️

If you clicked on this video and you were just diagnosed with MS, I am telling you from lived experience, you are going to be okay and you're going to be able to figure this out. I was diagnosed at 26 and now am 39 years old. Medications for MS are changing the long-term outcomes of this disease. You can get your education, fall in love, have adventures. You might have to get used to being in medical spaces on occasion and you will get SO good at understanding medical insurance, but you will adjust more quickly than you think. You've got this.

We have two dogs, ( a blue nose pitbull and a shihtzu) and it’s so sad because they do get forgotten a little in the early stages of parenthood. You’re so busy and sleep deprived that it’s hard to make the extra time. We were so blessed with friends and family taking the dogs for walks or even overnight stays to keep them entertained 😅 my daughter is 2.5 and now they are all besties. It’s so cute. 🥰

I did the same. I waited to start treatment, I thought I would just fix my habits and do what they did in the documentary, 4 months in and I had my second relapse. Just like everyone says in the MS society: your MS is benign until it isn’t. Your next relapse might leave you completely paralyzed.

I feel like I still haven’t come to terms that my daughter is the same baby I grew in my body 😂 and she’s 5 months old. It’s so weird. It feels like a distant memory and she’s been in my life forever. It’s a really strange thing to go through! Just remember to take it day by day, moment by moment. Try not to think too far into the future because it feeds our anxiety. ❤️❤️

I can totally relate with what you were saying about pregnancy and realizing that your life won’t be the same after your baby is born. Personally for me it felt like I could only mourn my life with no baby only when my daughter was born. Before that, even though I knew, you can’t really realize it. She is now 5 months and we are living our best life. Definitely an adjustment though, just keep doing what you are doing, everything will be fine 😊

I appreciate your vulnerability on here. I totally understand where you are coming from. As a mother myself, but to an 18 year old I actually am going through similar emotions but on the opposite side. My son is about to go off to college and he won’t be at home. My emotions are all over the place. I don’t know what life is like without him and it makes me sad. Sending you all the hugs and love. I know it seems like a lot right now and it is but it is the most rewarding thing that you will ever have happen to you. Sending all my love.

As a mom to three, I just want to give you a big hug. I remember feeling the same things you are when I was pregnant with my first. While having a baby is such a blessing, it’s also very scary. Two things can exist at the same time. I’ve been around babies all my life, but absolutely nothing compares to when it’s your baby. The unknown is terrifying. You were made to be this sweet boy’s mama and no one on this earth will know him better than you. I know you don’t need reassurance, but I’m just here to validate your feelings.
