Hello! I downloaded FNF around week 5 and i was... Terrible. I eventually gave up and later left the fandom (im not a fan of most mods.) I rejoined with the release of weekend 1 and im a bigger fan than ever! Only problem is my chronic skill issue. I practiced and practiced for days until i got really good!.... Or so I thought. I later compared to my friend and turns out im garbage i guess. Any spammy or fast songs i struggle with. Im currently at the point of struggling with the level 7 and 8 erect songs and I basically cant do any mod ever. I asked my friend for tips and watched videos but nothing has really helped. Ive been playing for ages but i just cant improve. I was hoping you would have any tips or guidance on how to go from "can play vanilla game on hard mode" to "be able to play erect mode and decently play mods". Sorry for the huge rant, i just want to be actually good aty favourite game. Loved this vid though!

My ranking goes like this: F TIER (THE WORST) 63. Lit Up This sounds like Eminem's _Tone Deaf._ Like an intro to a song that never starts, because it builds up to nothing. It sounds weak. It sounds like a KZfaqr's outro song. Also, Imma let it be known: I HATE Darnell's voice, and in this song, Pico's vocals are pretty bad. Their harmonization (which is like ⅔ of the song) is AWFUL. I've listened to several remixes and I just cannot vibe with this song. This is the only song out of the entire game I actually _hate._ It deserves its own tier below the other songs in this one, but I'm only sticking to 5 before the Top 10. 62. Bopeebo About as bad as Lit Up. It's literally a glorified _Hot Cross Buns._ It has nothing going for it. However, unlike Lit Up, I can't complain about poor song progression because... the song doesn't progress. It's just a beat loop. You could definitely scramble all the verses in the song and it would still sound fine. Also, I don't like the instrumental besides the synth pattern that comes in and out. 61. Darnell This one and Bopeebo are kinda tied, but this one has more going for it, so I placed it over Bopeebo. Compared to Lit Up, really the only redeeming factor is that Pico's voice is way better here, and the popoff sections are cool. I don't really care for the instrumental, and there's Darnell's voice.. D TIER (BAD) 60. Dad Battle This is the only one in this tier. The vocals carry a catchy melody, but das it. The thing I hate the most about the instrumental is that it has that wailing synth for ⅔ of the song. C TIER (MEDIOCRE) 59. Tutorial 58. Pause Menu (Pico) 57. Chase! 56. Talkin' Smack I included "Explosive!", and put it a tier over the full song because I like the guitar loop more on its own. 55. Bluu Song 54. Results (Excellent) Ion vibe with these two as much as other people do. Not bad, of course, just not that good. That's why they're _mediocre._ 53. Don't Stop Honestly, this one is way overrated. 52. Pico 51. Cocoa All-round mediocre. It's literally Bopeebo, except it closes with a popoff section. 50. Monster This is the mid-most song in terms of quality. Not much of a bop, but it has its cool parts (tho those are mainly the work of the instrumental). The beat changes are also neat. 49. Breakfast Also overrated, but this one is at least catchy. 48. Blammed I used to love this song the most out of the Week 3 selection, but now I feel like the vocals are kinda lacking in comparison to the intensity of the instrumental. I feel like the instrumental here (which on its own is really good btw) would be a better fit to the Erect mix while the one from that one would be a better fit to the regular mix. So really the only part that stands out here is the beat drop. 47. Eggnog Erect I dunno man. It has _parts_ that are a vibe or sound heavenly, but all-round, I like the original mix a little more. Also yeah, it definitely does not feel harder than the original mix. 46. Breakfast (Week 6) Catchier than the original. Sounds like a Sonic theme. 45. Fresh This one is also overrated. It's also just a beat loop, but it changes stuff up a little. The song repeats by the halfway point, but adds a little more beats every turn. The beatboxing is also neat, and, altogether, it does sound better than Cocoa and Bopeebo. B TIER (GOOD) 44. Artistic Expression This one was gonna go under "mediocre", about the same place as Pico's pause menu, but I vibe with this more than I think I should be. It's a beat loop, but it's a nice one. 43. Fight! Really cool buildup, but too short to be beyond the bottom of this tier. 42. Explosive! Again, I just really love the guitar riff. 41. Klaskii Romper Would've been mediocre if it didn't have notably good parts to carry it. 40. Fresh (Chill Mix) 39. Gettin' Freaky 38. Eggnog 37. High Good, but overrated. 36. South Overrated. Overshadows the actual best song of Week 2. Cuz unlike Spookeez, which had the Halloween feel, had a fun and exciting vibe, and incorporated Scary Swings into its instrumental, this one is just a generic rap song. Now, I can get behind Skid and Pump spitting bars (I mean, Funkadelix did it right), but this song has more trap than phonk, and it doesn't feel "Halloween-y". But yeah, Spookeez is just better. 35. Girlfriend's Song 34. Fresh Erect This one did good. Far from the best song, but it really did good as an Erect remix. It sounds like an evolved version of Fresh, and feels like a harder version of Fresh. It's all-round catchier, has a better vibe, and BF's vocals are heavenly. It's so funny that this is 34th place too. 33. Bopeebo Erect Miles better than the original. BF's vocal chops complement the linear beat loop by making the percussion pop out more, giving the song the bounce it was meant to have. BF's solos are awesome, as well as the popoff section at the end. The song has progressed from being baby-time music, and now it's a genuine bop. 32. Satin Panties I just vibe with this song more than High. 31. Spookeez I also don't like BF's vocals in South lmao. Again, this song is just _better._ 30. Philly Nice Erect BF's vocals are angelic, but the song has a more laid back vibe than the original, which I don't prefer. 29. Fresh (Boyfriend Mix) 28. South Erect Sounds a little more playful, and the phonk is more prominent. It's still a rap song, but this remix just did it better. I also like the part where the instrumental quiets down and BF does his solo. 27. High Erect Again, an evolved version of the original. 26. Results (Perfect) The energy of the song fits the "perfect" status. It feels like a celebratory grand finale. 25. Game Over (Chiptune) Way better than the original game over theme. 24. Give a Lil Bit Back Just plain awesome. It wouldn't mind if they went with something like this for the main menu theme. 23. Roses I think this one's a little overrated. It's obviously far from mid or anything, but I think it's the worst of the Week 6 songs. 22. Thorns Erect I like the original mix a little more. While I love heavy percussion, I like the "haunted" vibe that came with the synth pattern in the original. The percussion kinda drowns it out and turns it into a more intensive "running/fighting for your life" vibe. Like yeah, that _is_ what's technically happening. But 1: it's just a _rap_ battle, and 2: the song isn't difficult enough to warrant this sense of intensity. I also like how some turns sound in the original a little more. Tho the harmonizations are nice. 21. Senpai I just like the energy of this song more, and the percussion is nice and punchy. 20. Ugh Really good, the percussion and bass are nice, and the rhythms are catchy. 19. 2Hot The chorus is swesome when Pico sings it, the instrumental is great, the buildup and beatdrop are fire. Darnell's voice unfortunately drags this a little down-- just enough to put it one tier below.

the instrumental for roses erect literally does ALL of the heavy lifting. the vocals feel kinda boring, but yeah week 7 dubstep rules. also you did not just put lit up beneath erect mode spookeez, i did NOT just see that. lit up's instrumental could use some work, it could use more percussion but should it REALLY be surpassed by a song that literally has sections that are out of tune and all over the place?? and there is also a section of lit up which references guns. (which i definitely agree deserves that number 2 spot)

i totally agree with what you're saying about the vocals in eggnog erect sounding off time, but it kinda grew on me personally once I played it a few times!! it's definitely unconventional but imo it feels like it brings some of the christmasy bittersweetness into the soundtrack that the og christmas week was missing but it keeps the repetetiveness of the charting, and when the vocals did line up at moments it felt like the song was clicking in my head which was v satisfying. i think it's kinda cool that they included a song that's based a lot on vibes alone, but you're right in the sense that it being weird to play kinda takes away from it yk. with it being a game and all. the cutscene at the end made me giggle though which raised my ranking. I CANT BELIEVE YOU PUT PICO DEATH SO LOW THOUGH ITS A BANGER
