Awesome paint job! 3 years later, how does it hold up? Is there any risk for cracks if you roll it up?

Have you tried doing food delivery as a means to support yourself while looking for a place to live? Sometimes hotels will allow you to rent a room.

Great tutorial. Took 7.55 + 15 minutes to make one. Total cost about $6. Thank you!

Great result on this :) is there a good reason you didn't build the wall before the clay dried though? Always seemed like the way that made the most sense to me, but I haven't done it: wondering if I'm missing something obvious.

Amazing. Can you do Ladders? I've made a tresses tower with a hatch on the inside, but no idea how I get my soldiers to get to the top.

I did some super simple scale ladders for a fire escape on a build on this : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kNmeopurq-ClhI0.html some people seemed to think they weren't very good, but I think they looked fine for 28mm scale. It would really depend on the look I wanted, but I would be fine with matches and toothpicks (or skewers for larger size) to make ladders, even though it might be a little off for 28mm.

Thanks, I don't know why I didn't think of making this work as a dice tower at the time. It would be so easy to make the adjustments for that. Really appreciate the comment mate. All the best.

Hey man, just getting back into the hobby after a long while myself (Fallout Wasteland Warfare) and have really enjoyed your content, and I joined the patreon knowing your situation. Just want to say both my wife and I appreciate the videos. I hope you keep posting even if you are not able to do a project, both for sharing my potential ideas for terrain and for yourself. Its likely good for you to have an outlet regardless if you can provide 'content'.

Thank you so much for your support mate. I'm still around, so if you ever have any questions or suggestions, let me know. I hope to be back to regular content once I find somewhere a little bit comfortable to live. I will release some updates as they come, unfortunately, positive updates have been hard to find recently. But I'm not giving up, and I'll keep pushing forward. All the best to you and your wife, I really appreciate the comment and support. I'm really glad to hear you are finding some value in the content I have available.

Not weak to speak mate. And nothing sooky about being up front with your fans. You are more important than your channel and an artist can't create on fumes. We'll be waiting when the mojo strikes again.

Can someone from Shauns neck of the woods please provide him with some options for support? He says in the video description that he cannot afford a professional, but there MUST be help available that isn't in the private sector. Talking one way can be helpful, but he needs options for individual support, so he can make the progress he deserves. I am not a bleeding heart type, at all, but this guy has ability and talent and needs some help to get through this difficult time. What he's been through would break almost anyone. Shaun if you read this, I wouldn't go the caravan route without having a firm plan. Personally, I'd rather live in my workshop. Caravans are so small and practically useless for hobbies or commercial opportunities to dig yourself out of the situation. They lack space, flexibility. Many artists throughout history lived in their studios and you do have talent to be considered an artist. It's a creative decision? You're grieving on multiple fronts, so you need to focus on what makes you, or the people you care about, happy, but mainly you. If you stay there a while, save up/save on rent, then perhaps the odd weekend away with the kids at a B&B would provide a change of scenery? Things of this nature. Without knowing more about your earnings or career potential, its difficult to offer meaningful help. I hope someone local can step in. Try Reddit, you can post anonymously and see what suggestions come back.
@AshleyBlackwater
@AshleyBlackwater Ай бұрын
You've probably already thought about this, but does the workshop have a parking space close by they could give you? Could give you a more commutable living space and a way to keep your hobby space. Gotta do what's best for you in any case dude, good luck!
@RFDHobby
@RFDHobby Ай бұрын
Thank you for the suggestion. Sadly there aren't any spaces for me to setup (apart from where I am), and if I'm honest, I'm not sure how safe it would be to have a van out here, we have a bit of a problem with curious drunks and people that like to vandalise random stuff for no apparent reason. Abandoned factories must be a bit inticing to people looking to do some dumb shit. :) Thank you for support though, I really appreciate it. Cheers again for your comments.

I think the content we all most want to see is just you feeling happy, hobby or no hobby. If your path to recovery takes you away from the hobby and/or the channel, for a while or forever, then it is what it is. Your videos are a gift, not a contract, you've given us plenty; please don't feel any obligation to give us more. While I'd love to see new videos in the future, I'd be perfectly content if you called it here and had the best possible chance of getting better. Whatever you do, I'm staying subbed. Good luck man

Thank you so much. I thought once I had these things behind me I could start recovering and rebuilding, but I'm still going through most of it right now, but hopefully I'll be moving on soon.
