Not that bad of a fix and should be well within the extra budget. Also, new shocks and new bushings on the front anti-roll bar makes that Mark IV a whole new vehicle

Just found your channel. I had a BX 1.9 GTI in the late 80's, lovely car with the 205 1.9 engine and it was quick. My father worked and lived in Rotterdam so many cross channel trips taken and it was a real motorway muncher. The suspension was fantastic and for several years when they introduced parking charges (yes you could prior to that park for free!) at my local rail station, I left the car in the lowest position and it could not be physically clamped. Quite to sad to hear how many are left in the UK as it was a good seller.

Why not take the engine and supercharger out the mini and put it in the Austin

My dad passed away around 10 years ago. At the time i was still a child and my mum thought there was no need to keep the car. She sold it on around 2015/2016 time. I'm now I'm my 20's and have been on the look for the car for a while. Unfortunately my mum has lost My record of the sale so I'm at a dead end. I've done a hpi check and it hasnt been taxed or Mot in almost 2 years. I feel likd it could just be on someone dribe or garage rotting away. I would do anything to get this car back. soIve watched you over the years and feel like you're the best person to help me find this car again.
