I was born in 64 I went in the army the day after I graduated from high school this song brings back a lot of memories for me at 19 I was on the North Korean border and all hell broke loose a few times when I was up there!

I love this movie, but you’re doing a blasphemy by putting it on too early during the running sequence. WTH?!

What a great great great song. Zemeckis/Paramount hit a grand slam getting the song with this part of the movie. It’s just so appropriate and goodness even brought a tear to my eyes thinking about how life sometimes takes us running on empty. Quite literally 😆

I think we all have a bit of Jenny and Forrest in all of us.
Could've been Hep C but yeah her years of nailing everyone but Forrest really caught up to her.

Bitte recherchiere richtig. (Soll kein Hate sein.) Grüße, Mitch

He just gets up and goes! Forrest exemplifies the American spirit! Go Forrest Go! And I love the Jackson Browne song!
Tom Hanks brother did most of the running scenes. He was a runner and looked just like him. You can tell the difference the brother is slender and has a wider nose and a real beard.

Thank you so much for posting this scene. This scene always reminds me of a child who misses the love of a mother or someone special. That wrestless impossible craving to be with the one we love can never be substituted. What an expression of love.
