Nice topwater catches. Nice largemouth to start off things. Those smallies tore it up as well. Your buddy got out there in a deep hole at the 8 minute mark, lol. I like the yellow perch pattern on that whopper plopper. Fun trip Tony and great fishing as always. I got skunked the other day.

I like that reel... cast very far... what pound line on it? I need something that cast that far. Fat bass at the 7 and 10 minute marks... lots of other nice fish. That river is so wide. What was the top water lure you started the video out with? Great fishing again Tony.

@@excursionamericaexa 10lb power pro V2 braid and a 4’ 10lb flouro carbon leader. The 1st lure was either a choppo 105 or whopper plopper 110. I’ll have to take a look.

@@riverrat92 A bit sketchy with the water levels up n down. It helps to know the waters well. We navigated up the deer creek side since it was most familiar to us. Anytime we use the port deposit side we always cross directly over the river.

Sorry about not replying sooner. Comment was Held for review. So I only use Ned heads outside of paddletails when it comes to soft plastics. I have in the past, but I lack the patience to finesse fish. I want to use them, but the remainder of the season will probably be mainly topwater till I get back on trout in the fall. Thank you sir!
