Hahaha…… Yes Sir, let’s go!!!!! I’d say if you want the devils mod and a stronger recoil go with Ghk preferably the older generations from like 6-10 years ago. I heard the new one got really bad. Another big issue I had is leaky mags with the devils mod. Recoil is VERY IMPORTANT to me the stronger the better and a nice steel bolt carrier. If some one isn’t that crazy about recoil but more about relatability no leaky mags and straight out of the box a good gbbr I’d say marui is better for that person then. Are we in the same ball park or do you see it differently?

@@TomiHarley - Yeah, I had the last generation of GHK in mind. The latest mags are not compatible with the Devilhunter mod for example... The TM AKM is mostly made out of aluminium and pot metal, but the parts which are really count are steel and good steel at that. It isn't flimsy at all and the weight is also close to the real thing. Recoil: The TM AKM have a recoiling mass of 318g (11.2 oz) stock, while the GHK AK's is 240g (8.4 oz). Both have aftermarket pistons, so I'm not sure what the end numbers are, but I guess the TM can be a bit more beefy. People told me that my TM AK kicks like it was .22LR or more... I took it with a pinch of salt, but people told me this shit, so the thing must kick :D However what is more important than recoil is reliability. The ghk design without a nozzle spring is just shit. If you like steel, I've heard VFC will come out with something towards the end of the year and I've also heard rumors that E&L is also working on something...

On thing I've forgot to add: I do envy your Vipertech stuff, I have an MWS which does kick, but not much. It's also missing the metal-on-metal sound, because the nozzle is plastic.

I love the Ak platform but as you just mentioned the relatability is terrible also those stupid wings on the nozzle that love to break. That’s why I stopped playing with my GHK. Especially the mags leaking is just terrible. You have some one in in sight you aim and then only the click noise no gas left in the mag even with the AR style Ghk mags I hated those so much it mags gaming less joyfully and at times I’d be debating if I really do wanna go play today and deal with the hassle. The Ghk AR mags are even worst causing misdeeds needing to change from plastic feed lids to aluminum than an other 20$ per mag. So I switched from those terrible Ghk mags and gave my vipertech what it deserves vipertech mags they are more expensive but reliable to the T. No leaking no misdeeds it’s a dream. I wish vipertech would make aks

@@TomiHarley - Well, I suggest trying out the TM AKM, it's reliable and it's kicking. Since it's TM, if you don't like it, you can sell it without losing much. Doing a green gas mod is pretty much necessary (disassemble all the mags and cutting the alu tube in half, like two min per mag). Also it can go a bit hot, during summer, I also recommend some power down valves with heavy BBs I live in Europe, so for me it was about 900 EUR with 6+1 mags. It's around 1k USD, but I don't know what the prices are there. You would think you need CO2, but with good design, I don't think it is necessary. Maybe in the winter, but I've yet to test the thing. Well, if E&L ever make proper gas AKs, then it will be almost the same. Unless they fuck it up of course. One more thing about the TM AKM, I have it in almost stock configuration (besides the hopup rubber and the powerdown valve) since May, with at least two games a month and a major milsim event and I had exactly 0 problems with it. No leaking mags (even after disassembly and reassembly for the gg mod), nothing. I've yet to clean it properly to be honest and everything works fine. I'll have to buy a wood kit for her tho, because of the feelz. On to the VT, I'm gonna get one sooner or later (more likely way later), because of the sheer awesomeness. And also nobody else manufactures proper retro guns lately. I'm gonna get it in gg version tho. Propaine is pretty viable here. At least my mws worked with it perfectly around 40 F. It rarely goes below 14 F around here and for worst case, I can still get out my backup AEG :D

That a tough question to answer because it can be so many things. Let’s start with the magazine Check your feed lips and make sure they are in spec not chipped or maybe they are too wide now to where the bbs is sitting higher then normal and it pics up 2 BBs instead of one The spring that’s pushing up your BBs is maybe weakend and isn’t pushing your BBs fast enough upwards into to the right position. Depending on your weight of BBs. You can try to load just a few BBs and see if you get a jam. If it’s a brand new mag you just bought the mag should have still sat on the shelf for years. Or if the spring is new maybe try lighter BBs I go up to 0.49g so the spring has to push a lot more weight then just 0.20g and if the irate of fire is high that could impact it. Now to the gbbr it’s self, make sure that by the barrel extension by the feed ramp when the bb gets pushed into the hop up chamber that the hop up bucking isn’t obstructing the BBs path up the ramp. If you take it apart it be the easiest to check. Take the barrel off and then gently with your finger push the bb up the ramp into the hop up chamber and see if the BBs is getting caught somewhere. If you barrel extension is aftermarket that could mean that the feed ramp might have a different approach angle. It might be steeper or it might be more slope. Your HopUp bucking The ones made for gbbrs I don’t like especially from maple leaf the suck they break easily and also can cause easily a jam. I use the ones for the vsr10 it has to be fitted though. The funnel in my opinion is very important to the BBs sits just right in the bucking. That’s from the top of my head also make sure your bolt carrier travels far back enough because the nozzle stay in its place as the bolt carrier travels back until the nozzle stop and then the nozzle gets yanked back retracing into the nozzle. That take time and if you short stroke your bolt carrier too much the nozzle your travel far back enough as the bolt carrier is returning into battery and causing an mis feed.

Great question, I should do an other review on it because I absolutely love this pistol, especially in the Texan heat it has such a strong and crisp recoil, every thing works fine no deformation only on the slide catch and on the slide lill bit where the slide engages. Two very important thing i change my nozzle I believe it’s a cow cow for the hi capa with low velocity flow and the o ring that sits on the piston that seals the the gas being filled up inside the nozzle. That o ring has to be the strong one that is used for hydraulics I think the strength is a 90. You need that playing in hot weather. The standard one was the weak and started expanding too much and as the nozzle retracted and got cough on the o Ring rendering it useless. The only way to fix it is to take it apart take out the housing where the nozzle sits in and try to push back the o ring. With the stronger o ring not only those if seal better the cool down has dropped dramatically and I can play in 100+ Fahrenheit weather with out any issues. To my it was worth every penny, even after such a long time I’m still in love it it still runs fantastically actually even better now. No rust. It is one of the best pistols I’d say if you are looking for: Craftsmanship incredibly beautiful Accuracy with a maple leaf crazy jet and auto bot 70 degrees bucking its fantastic. Built like a tank One of the strongest gas blow back pistols out there. Nice sound, it has a deeper sound when shooting then all others I have heard It feels so damn real, when holding it the quality it actually looks more real then my real steel. And of course don’t short change your self with this one you gotta use co2 only hands down. When manipulating it and sliding the slide back and listen to the sound of when it returns into battery, it’s so metallic so satisfying. Just to put it in perspective, the novritsch pistol I have it’s a great shooter but I was liking it not loving it for a with mins and then ok seen it done it feels and look and sound like a gbb. But the night hawk, holy mother over god it still after aaaaaalllllll this time it gives me the giggles it still excites me. I’m surprised myself actually. Do if some one has the money and is looking to get out of the pistol what I mentioned above I’d say it’s a fantastic buy.

Do you think if didn't remove the buffer might help prevent that slight deformation on the slide and slide catch ? I'd be interested to hear your perspective. Therefore, you think the experience brought by the price of this product is worth it ?

I know new GHK hop up units fits to VFC rifles like BCM and i hear is good hop up units.

@@NeoMartel fantastic that’s some valid information right there. I would assume that the vipertech hop up unit would fit inside the VFC hop up Chamber since it does fit inside the Ghk hop up chamber. How ever it also depends how your feed ramp is on your Vfc barrel extension. It could be too short too long too steep that could cause some issues just be mind full of that. But you could try it the hop up unit is cheap like 30-40$ and it’s out of steel. To where the tnt or maple leaf is made out of weak aluminum and it’s almost double the price. If it doesn’t fit, don’t be too bombed out about it, because that is a risk you have to be willing to try to do. I myself have ordered various parts. I was experimenting trying to find the best fit the best solution. What’s most reliable and I have a bunch of parts that , I have no use and wasted money.

They do need some work you are right about that. The one thing that bothered me, the most is with the devil mod where I fill my mags with CO2 instead of green gas. My CO2 output valve. I always had issues with those leaking out of the nine every week. There would be 234 mags leaking whatever I tried press them in get new valves. It was one huge headache and dealing with it for years. It was not fun anymore. Where I don’t remember the last time I used my Ghk AK it’s sad because I do love the AK platform but dealing with that issue, it’s not.

@@TomiHarley Good to know, thats why i only put inside steel sear, valve knocker and run with 12kg gas. Oh i forgot, ra tech nozzle is good to get too. I done wirh ML hop up problem, i file hop up unit and feed ramp, now i can regulate the wheel and nub get the pressure on bb.

@@NeoMartel you did a fantastic job on upgrading it. I did a few things to it too. The hammer the sear is steel. The bolt carrier is steel. I ran the RA tech nozzle with the adjustable FPS. I didn’t like it because the recall wasn’t as strong as the nozzle. feed ramp I changed from plastic to aluminum it’s from we tech HopUp assembly I only used the aluminum barrel extension ramp. My HopUp unit is from TNT. My inner barrel is 6.23 mm orga barrel. I wanted to try to see if that is any good some people are crazy about it. I have somewhat limited use with it, but I did not see a tremendous change in accuracy with it. To me it seemed to be the same as a tight in barrel, like a 6.02mm. But again my use with that barrel is limited.

@@TomiHarley Some stock thing can be keeped like bolt carrier, BC spring and rod because in stock AK shoots very well and fast. Maybe i try some aluminium feed ramp but OEM is okay.

@@NeoMartel right I forgot about that. I also have a stronger recoil spring. For the heavier bolt you definitely want to use a stronger spring. I use the aluminum bald carrier for a little while, but it was satisfying. The record wasn’t as strong. For me is one of the most important things otherwise I would’ve never switched to GBBR. furthermore using CO2 the aluminum bolt carrier started to break apart also using full travel, wasn’t too good for that bolt carrier. The two ears that go inside the guide rails Edward keep coming out and hit the rails create shaving inside of the receiver. it all depends what you want to get out of it. I think the aluminum bolt carrier is great for weaker gas and not using full travel. It’s very efficient. The rec isn’t as hard which makes follow-up shots specially in full auto much easier.

@@KhadskinYTDPH that is a great question. I would say first of all it highly depends on your HopUp booking and unit. Me personally I like the maple leave 70% auto bot. For bbs The weight I like to use is 0.40 g, I run a crazy jet maple leave inner barrel and those three things. Give me some great accuracy. Mind you I shoot more on longer distances. If your interactions are closer range like 100 feet, I would suggest to go much later too .28- 0.32g would be a great choice and if you are playing super close, CQB go with 0.20 g

Ahhh yeah the sweet M16, it has a special place in my heart. I have been using red dots for such a long time to where I started to miss using the simplicity or iron sight and now laser flashlight or forward grip. It’s definitely interesting how light it is compared to when I modernize the m16 with a quad rail laser froward grip eotech sight and magnifier hahaha. Do you still have your gbbrs? I wouldn’t blame you if you don’t, most gbbr brands are terrible, more problems then fun. But I hear fantastic things about the Marui and vfc. When a gbbr works flawlessly for the most part to me it’s just so much more fun and I love the constant reloading. How was it for you? How has your experience been with gbbrs?

I feel your pain, I had the exact same issues with my mags leaking form the output valve every week there would be constantly one or two maybe even 3 mags leaking out of the output valve. Maybe I should have stored it with soma gas left in it. I did the in the beginning but it didn’t seem to help much maybe I should have tried it for longer. I had Ghk mags for my Ak and my AR platform and the AK were better at not leaking. But it still was a constant headache. If was so bad that playing for years like that I at times was debating if I even should go out and play. It was a major downer. For My AR platform since they are vipertech I switched to vipertech mags and they are a lill more expensive but what a dream to play with them no jamming issues no leaks and the devils mod works great on them. I wish vipertech would make ak,s as well. That’s why I stopped playing with my Ghk AK too much headache that I don’t want to deal with any more. About the Teflon tape, why the start leaking after wards a few days or a week. When you apply that Teflon tape, it’s not press down together. It has a bigger volume. When you screw the valve or the tube back onto it, it will slowly get compressed and then start to leak. But that’s an easy fix you just need to reapply and usually the second time around it solves the leaking issue. About the input valve shooting out thank God it did not hit your eye. I usually when I fill up my valve. I am afraid of exactly that issue you addressed so I wear typically glasses. Soda stream bottles I’m not a big fan off because they don’t have that much pressure to begin with to put CO2 into the max. That’s why I use a 5 pound CO2 tank which in some countries can be hard to get. I don’t blame you for switching back and also those damn output valves. They are expensive 20 bucks. They are insane. Ask in the GHK Facebook for him what their experience has been maybe they have a solution so that you can keep on using CO2 . Maybe we both are not well informed about it and are doing something wrong. Because the CO2 gives it such an amazing kick.

@@TomiHarley thanks a lot for the thorough response i feel like it's gonna be useless but i'm gonna make one last try buying a more quality adapter for the sodastream, buying upgraded seals for the valves, putting in a different lubricant instead of silicone (notorious for working at first then drying off after some time with no use and causing leaks) and keeping a little bit of CO2 in the mag pretty much at all times (maybe filling it with the bottle up so the pressure isn't that high) and if ALL THAT doesn't work then i'll just wait for the VFC ak to come out buy that one and sell the damn ghk

@@mattew_2795 the VFC AK I think is going to be good. VFC has built a great reputation for themselves in the last few years. And GHK wants praised to be great product in the last years. They have gone south really bad. About the input valves, although it says steel, I found that they are weaker. I had the heads off two times on me while screwing the valve inside the magazine. Then it becomes a big headache trying to take that one out. I hope that with the VC we would be able to do the devils mod and, hopefully the bolt would be steel. If that happens probably I will get one myself as well. I really do like the AK platform. and you are welcome. I’m glad that I can be somewhat a little bit of a help. I am very passionate about this as I am sure you are as well and any little help we can get we need it.

Great question, I loved them, it solved most of my jams, an other thing to keep in mind the rage of fire, it yours shoots too fast what can happen with co2 especially the Ghk follower spring isn’t fast enough pushing the bbs up combined with a full mag and heavy bbs. Ghk has a weaker spring, a stronger spring could also help with the prevention of jamming/missfeeds. I hope this was some what helpful.

I try not to judge, to me hpa aeg’s are nonsense, I love how the gbbrs are bring the the way of playing closers to real steel. How ever that’s my liking, to others they are seeking something else, for example getting the most kills is what’s most important to them. What platform can give them the most accuracy the most ammo the highest rate of fire to get the most/ best kills. The hpa set up for that is a great starter point and to then I’m the ridiculous one with only 30-40 rounds in one mag spending 90$ a mag that I can’t drop onto concrete that’s ridiculous and rightfully so. We can argue and say yes but the gbbr platform forces you to become a better player sure but the guys with hpa or aegs they are become even better players too with their set up. The beauty in airsoft is there is something for everyone and as much as I don’t like the other platforms I’m happy that they have what makes them happy. And each side talking bad about the others is fun too hahahaha.

That’s awesome to hear, just a heads up I had many issues with the co2 out out valve leaking. Out of the 9 mags for the Ak or out of the 13 mags for my ar there would always a few be leaking on me. Green gas valves seal apparently better but obviously you can’t run those with CO2. Maybe I stored them wrong as well. Some say you should leave gas in it so that they don’t leak I have to compare the AR or the AK Max the AR’s were the ones that were leaking more. I had more issues with them and then at the AK mags. The rec will definitely and it louder too and if you have a steel bolt, oh my God this thing is going to rock really nice. I don’t have any reference to the sizes of the O-rings. I got my O-rings off Amazon, and there is different strength of O-rings. I believe there is 70 which is the weakest and then 90 which we most use and then there is a believe even a stronger one, which you could use if you wanted to, but not necessary. Those are used for hydraulics.

I would rather not use the soda stream bottle method either. Do you know how you got your setup to fill directly from the 5lb tank? I found a site selling a kit for the DH mod but it looks like it requires soda stream bottles and would like to avoid that if possible.

I like the 5lbs co2 tank much better due the easy of filling up and it’s cheaper too and you can potentially fill up the mag a lill more. I’m not sure what my threats are but I looked at the cga 320 and it looks the same as mine. The mad bull co2 nozzle for grenades fits over perfectly the only think you need to get is a rubber washer which you can get on Amazon there use it for bars it’s easy to get and you should be ready to go

@@diegogarcia8690 ohhhhhh my friend you have a viper tech 😁😁😁😁😁 that thing is the best nice buy 💪. Yes I had to file my p mags, since it’s plastic and the top lip of the mags is aluminum it’s easy to make it fit. I have mine drop freely and it’s easy to insert. Here is my tip get Vipertech/ebtech mags, sure they are more expensive but they are a much higher built quality they are super strong especially the old school looking GI type of mags. Also what you can do with them is do the devils mod, those mags can take the higher pleasure easily. The only thing if you play in super hot weather like 100F plus maybe even 95F you need to change two screws to steel screws that hold the upper and lower pace together and slightly thicker o rings. Sounds more complicated than it is. Those mags are so easy to work on and also the almost never ever ever leak. I had so much issues with my Ghk mags leaking out the co2 out put valve. If you want the modern p mag style the seem to not be strong enough for the devils mod filling them with co2. Their construe different, it’s stupid what they did. Now Ghk mags around 65$ Feed lips around 20$ That’s already 85$ Viper tech magazine is around 90$ On top of that co2 output valves Ghk 20.$ Vipertech 10$ In my opinion Vipertechs should be run on co2 only, they can take it and they loooooove it the recoil the cycling it runs so much better and smoother. Also Vipertech gas capacity is lager then the Ghk leading to more consistent shoots. I had a mag on devils mod break the 2 o rings, while it was in my hand, some people where saying I’m crazy for doing this it’s dangerous I created a b. O. M. B haha how hilarious wrong they were. Nothing happen to my or my hand. It was a loud pop noise ( not as loud as the co2 thunder bee g.r.e.n.a.d.e. And guess what I fixed it with in 10 min taking my time mind you. If you hurry in 3-4 min this can be done. No nonsensical pins to push out like the Ghk no spring that wants to jump out of the feed ramp. The fit and finish is amazing, the only thing a regret is not having them bought from the beginning and have had delt with those stupid Ghk mags. Now that’s just my experience that I’m speaking of and my opinion, there are other people that would say how wrong I am. My suggestion to you find out as much as you can and then make your decision Ps when was the last time I had to take my mag apart, august 2023. If we look at my videos from the switch to viper tech mags there have been barely any misdeeds or gas leaks. Compared to if you watch earlier videos with Ghk mags. My biggest issues were misdeeds that got mostly fixed by the aluminum feed lips but the constant leaking from the output valve stayed consistent. I have a track record with my vt mags Handeling co2 with out any problems. Now again that’s just me. Maybe I got super lucky and got 10 of the strongest mags from vipertech. If it works for me playing in 100-115 plus Fahrenheit I don’t know if it would work for others. I think I’m officially the only one doing the devils mod on vipertech mags. It has to start somewhere that’s exactly how it started with the Ghk mags there was a guy that had that idea and tried it and it worked and I’m sure there were people telling him how stupid or crazy he is for doing that it’s super dangerous bla bla bla….. the pioneers always get shot first. Again I can only speak from my experiences.

@@Lo-ig9bl that is wonderful I’m glad you got into this sport, apart from cool airsoft’s and cool gear you get to meet new people become friends being out in nature it’s just such a great hobby/sport. I’m proud of you for going out there and trying something new💪. How is going? I gotta hear some stories and what your load out is and just over all experience. Calling captain haha yeah I missed him very much but I’m finally back in Texas and last weekend we played together again after a loooooong 5 months pause. That footage is coming soon. When you play long enough at one field you can forge some great friendships with people and if they are on the other team and they hit you, you guys can laugh at it together later on. One advice, this is coming from my experience, when I was a kid a loooooong time ago I played airsoft too with friends I had an AEG and to my recollection I was a damn good player or maybe my friends were just bad players haha…. Why do I say that because after taking more then a 10 year break when I got back into it I was baaaaaaaaaadddd hahaha and it threw me off a lot. How is that possible im this so called great player and then this????? I can see the enemy before they see me. I had such hard time with getting better with that aiming and shooting. They were all so much better than me. I came to a point where I started doubting myself and thinking maybe this isn’t for me anymore, but something didn’t let me quit and I kept on and look at me now I’m just a little bit better hahaha. My point is if you have a hard time getting hits or seeing the enemy before they do see you don’t quit. Even if you are baaaad at it like I was, over time you will get better and more importantly it teaches you even more so that practice makes a master. Don’t give up in life when things don’t look great, it’s only temporary it will get better. Who knows maybe you are a natural and you are getting already a looot of hits 💪💪💪.

I’ve been going to play with regular clothes knee pad and have a few other things for protection. But nothing cool yet. Will be saving up to get my first gun. For now just been renting at the spot. I am not good at all, just really enjoying meeting new people and learning. I’m pretty sure I’m goin go to keep doing this forever. I’m sure there will be times where life will get in the way and I’ll take a break but it’s good to know that it’s something that will alway so be there for me. Everyone is so damn cool. I hope I get good. Maybe join up a team or so and be cool like you. Thank si man for everything. Your channel is the best. I hope it blows up big soon.

Yeah I’m battling with that too, if I active super smooth on my go pro it zooms in a bit to stabilize the picture making it less stress full on the eyes but then taking away from the greediness. another battle of mine that I have is a scam. I have one, but I absolutely dislike having it on my GBR and the way it looks, but I think that the audience would appreciate having a closer look of the BB flight patterns. constructive criticism like yours help me to become better and for that I want to thank you very much. 💪

Great question, I didn’t I bought the MK18 and m16 Vipertech used and the guy give me a bunch of stuff with it. I believe it’s a z-part or prime stell barrel extension. Depending on your hopup unite and buking it might are might not work. The ramp is pretty steep and in my case it doesn’t reach far enough back. There is a gab between the bucking and the feed ramp which caused me misfeeds. The bbs would should up too high and then get mangled by the Boltcarrier and the hop up unit. Keep that in mind it’s very important. That part if you google it you should be able to order it from Taiwan.
