Seeing the models well-maintained now makes me really happy. They've previously been treating the models like toys. These aren't just Thomas models, these are THE Thomas models.

Even though I HATE the way Drayton Manor handles the props, I must say, they don't look half bad. Especially the Edward replica! Seriously, I hope they keep the old chap safe.

It appears they've been trying to take steps in ensuring these models are properly maintained for once. You love to see it, and I hope they continue to keep this up. Cause the state of these models a few years ago were just unacceptable and were practically falling apart. Some unfortunately still have some pretty big glaring issues that need to be resolved.

Awesome video. This almost makes me think of Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway. They also had a small blue train on passenger duty. Personally I'm not a massive fan of steam outliners. The sound of the diesel rumbling just ruins the illusion for me.

seeing Judy in steam brings back the memory of helping to return her to steam. I can remember traveling behind Alfred on brake van rides at Thomas the tank engine events

Underrated channel right here! Loved both the vid and these engines!

Seeing morons on bicycles squeezing between a building and the moving train on an area clearly marked as a danger area. Darwin Award entrants! Probably claim that no one told them not to go there.

I gather the trip along the Cut no longer operates.
@Bovine_of_the_RailsАй бұрын
From what I heard when talking to the volunteers, it’s hopefully being re-opened once the track has been relayed, which should be by next year if not before.
@boblovell578914 күн бұрын
Thank you. That is interesting. Pity the bridge over the cut now out of railway use. Maybe one day consideration should be given to an extension to the SS Great Britain.

It's so neat that Bristol's M Shed has a feature to allow uou to see the harbour from the view of a modified wagon. As a lover of the city of Bristol this small line ride heightened my love for the city even more.

Excellent video! Very enjoyable watch throughout! Scenes that capture the gala atmosphere at Minehead, particularly loved the part where the crews were chatting alongside 9466 and Jessie. Even the rain couldn't spoil how impressive Mayflower looked at Crowcombe. Some lovely evening scenes then once the sun made a reappearance! 6695 and 1054 both moving simultaneously at Minehead was a wonderful scene.

Thank you very much, it was a wonderful gala, seeing interactions with loco crews and members of the public really does make the galas even more enjoyable. :)
