The video: playing the game in spanish without speaking the language Me, an spaniard: esto será divertido I don't get why you thought people could get offended by this, we actually love seeing these kind of things 1) 14:12 Sonrisa means smile. Here it says "What is that you see? The hopefull smile of someone who expects to become a champion?" 2) to be honest I too tried that same cave in emerald (my first main Pokémon game) without trying flash even while playing in my native language. I guess that's what you can expect from 6 year olds like us 3) 31:22 marinero actually isn't a name but means sailor 4) and don't worry, for someone who dosen't speak the language your pronunciation, while not entirely correct a few times, was pretty decent for the most part so I would say you did very good there, congrats 5) 32:20 cola means line in this context actually xD

Listen, it's the internet. :') While I figured most people would be fine with it, I just wanted to make sure nobody could misinterpret my intentions. Also, I figured marinero meant sailor, the same way I figured montenero meant hiker! "Name" is perhaps misleading, but I basically meant "type of trainer". Also, oh no, are you saying that when I said "cola line" I essentially said "line line" same way you say "tea tea" when saying "chai tea?" 😂 That's unfortunately haha!

this is awesome lol, im a native english speaker and there were so many new words i learned from pokemon when i was 6 even though i already spoke english. im also latino so i know a little bit of spanish and i thought it was hilarious hearing the pronunciation lol great video!

8:19 I guess that's because of the spanish colonization of the Netherlands and Belgium? As a mexican this video was so relatable lol until the late 2000s we got all games on american english despite the european spanish translation existing because of region shenaningans. Keep up the good work! I laughed a lot.

3rd gen is kinda confusing, but it's not really a hard or obscure challenge when a good chunk of players had to played the game like this, basically all of latinamerica had to play every pokemon game like this because GF only translated the games to spanish in Spain

I'm a Brazilian, living in Australia, watching a Dutch person talking to me in English, on an American website through my Korean phone, while playing a Japanese game in Spanish, reading it with a French accent. There maybe a globalization joke waiting to be made,I just don't know where.

@@heartforpixelsnooo! Sorry, didn't mean it as an offence! I just thought it was funny to notice. Funny, but in a cute way. For someone who doesn't know Spanish, you were doing pretty good. And tbh, kudos on taking the challenge! For me, as Portuguese speaker, Spanish is a "cousin" language. Not 100% mutually intelligible, but around 80%. With some effort, we get eachother.

It's an incredibly rare event. But yes, if your animals can't return to their coop/barn, with each night there is an increasing chance to get it. Sier was the one who got killed by the way. Hier only suffered lifelong trauma from witnessing the event. (:

Hahaha! Yeah the naming scheme this video was "Dutch words that end in -ier". Though I only noticed it in the edit that I named the animal Vier right before the fourth meteor struck. Lucky coincidence! :D

hey! I just found your channel as youtube recommended this to me. i'm pleasantly surprised- this is a great video! Your commentary is very well done, the pacing and storytelling are planned out very well. Your editing looks great as well- cuts, zooms, and other custom edits are all well placed. Just one little thing: I'm not *entirely* sure if it's you, or if my headphones have a problem, so take this with a grain of salt, but i had to turn my volume up fairly high to hear you well on my phone. Be careful with the volume of your voice, as well as effects and clips so it's not too loud or quiet, and so that it doesn't jumpscare the viewer if you use a clip/effect. Other than my nitpicking, this is a high-quality video, easily on par with the bigger Stardew creators!
