Thank you! I really liked the natural/organic look of the raw edge, so he just added grout to the edges so it wasn't too rough to the touch. I've seen other people trying to find edge trims that matched as closely as possible to the tile. Good luck with your installation and thanks for watching! 💚

I think it’s great you’re not punishing yourself for DNFing. I look at book reading like a relationship … why invest time and energy into something that doesn’t inspire or have reward?
@CatInMac3 ай бұрын
Ooo I like that! That's a great way of thinking, I've never thought about that before! I'm trying to be better at DNFing instead of letting things sit on my currently reading list and always saying 'I'll get back to that one later...' then never touch the book again and feeling guilty its still on my TBR lol thank you so much for watching friend! I hope you're doing well ☺️❤️

@@CatInMac I’m dependent on audiobooks, and I have even returned books merely because the narrator was lackluster, too dramatic, or repeatedly did something that I just couldn’t *not* notice (like mouth breathing or projecting through their nose). 😅 If I have to spend over 25 hours with someone, I need a cozy narrator. That being said, the characters need to hold up, or else there’s no narrator that can do it any justice. Sheesh. I feel so mean. Hey! Burn Book vibes are empowering me to speak freely. 😉😁
@CatInMac3 ай бұрын
@@SnailMailShell Hahaha yesss! Don't feel mean, embrace the power of the Burn Book lol 😂 I completely understand the importance of having a good narrator and most of the time the audiobooks I listen to have pretty good narration - except for this one time, I was listening to a book from one of my FAVORITE narrators, but it was a dual POV book and the other woman had a slight inflection in her voice at the end of every. single. one. of her sentences that drove me crazy, but I powered through because of the other narrator 😂

@CatInMac3 ай бұрын
Hi! Yeah totally understandable - it looks a bit weird lol 😅 It is a pointed pen for calligraphy! So the pen consists of a holder and a nib and you can dip the nib in ink or paint on the color, similar to how I'm doing in this video. Its basically a more modern version of old school quill pens that you would dip in ink. I hope that answered your question, thanks so much for watching ☺

I broke my TBR into two categories: wish list, and others. I noticed that if I was constantly reading recommendations others gave me I was less likely to get 5 star reads. BUT I also value outside suggestions so I don’t get stuck in a rut. So I switch between the two categories when choosing my next read.

Gosh your headings look AMAZING! It is hard for me to buy books I have never read also. I tend to get the ebook or get it from the library, and read it first. If I know I am going to read it again I buy a hard copy. But I know that bothers a lot of people too because now you have to copies of the same book...but I like having the physical book. I also love that you have your physical books listed in your journal. I thought about doing this then I realized just how many books I own...and thought it might not work for me. Great video!

Finally found the time to watch this video! Hahaha, us book people wanting to be broken by the storyline and dissolve in tears is so relatable... That lettering is so great, where do you get the ideas for the different font types (do you call it that?) ? Or can you just do them intuitively? How good did the hair end up looking? that's crazy! also what kind of huge sticker is that? oh, how cute are those mushrooms and so nice that there are diverse bodies. revenge bodies are so annoying, I'm so much more into revenge self love... I'm actually quite sad, that book sounded so good to me. But thanks for your review, now I'll spend my time reading other books. I love how creative and different you take on every new page! Thanks for inspiring <3 ps: I had to turn up the volume a lot to hear you. maybe that's a problem on my end but I wanted to tell you in case it is useful feedback to you (:

Thank you so much for taking the time to watch friend! I really appreciate that ☺️ hahaha yessss, I love when a book makes me cry lol I've noticed most of the books on my favorites lists have ripped my heart out completely and I thank them for that 😂 the style of font I use is my go to, its a font type I've practiced over and over and feel the most comfortable doing ☺️ Ahhh I'm so happy the hair turned out ok, I love it! I used sticker paper to print the woman from the cover - sticker paper is my go to for adding book covers in my journal too! Although there were parts that I did enjoy about Savvy Sheldon, I think if you're looking for more positive plus size reps, there are other options out there! I love the idea of revenge self love, that makes so much more sense ❤️ Thank you soooo much for the feedback!
