Hi Simone T.V could you please explain on your channel on the whiteboard how to work out the FSR and if a certain house size fits? I cannot find anything on KZfaq how to calculate this as I'm wanting to sell contract homes as a new homes sales consultant. Please can you do a video on this🙏

This information is incorrect as the smart tile waste is NOT glued into place (as mentioned) and the stainless steel grate is the correct one (which he said is not (it actually gets grouted in after it get glued into place) in that application and the smart tiled waste that he mentioned is the correct one is the wrong size (which is why is doesn't fit in the hole shown), hence this info is incorrect. Just saying in case people are trying to install a grate when looking at this video.

It's great but only thing I can see wrong here is which is law by the AS2870 land must be sloped away from the footing and as you can see the pods are hollow thus creating a path under the waffle for rats and other animals. Most importantly no drainage installed around the the footing can be swale drains or other form of drainage to drain water away from your footing, the land on this site is very flat I assume the land flow is back to front which means the surface water will flow into the under ground plumbing trenches creating long term problems down the track. I apologise for bringing this up, but because water and waffle work against each other making water the worse enemy for your waffle pod slab. Sorry everyone but water is a big problem with water, I have a waffle slab heave and snapped in half.

I guess there are concrete piers under this? Does the plastic just go over the top of the piers so the slab ends up separated from the slab by the membrane?

You doing it wrong you suppose to put timber in top of the fibro and nail it to the rafter it’s much cheaper and much quicker

Swinging door all the way. Sliding doors are stupid because all the time it always gets stuck. "But swinging doors takes so much space." YES EXACTLY, to motivate you not to buy more junk in your room which makes it cleaner. It never fails if you want it to open or close. it's easy to do so.

Walkthrough living spaces make the home feel wider. For example, a walkthrough lounge room at the entry will do the job. Narrow lot designs usually have long and narrow halls, so designing wider sections of the hall for example where the (access to the Powder or Laundry is ) will also make the home feel bigger. One other tip is to keep rooms as square as possible, that makes the house feel boxy and not longy :) Cheers ! By the way - this channel is a pure gold ! Thanks Simone !

I know this has been 4 years but do you tape the bottom to ?? Some say do it some say don’t as if there is water trapped it will slide through and won’t attract termite ( I do have a termite flashing installed as well )

My contract mentions that setup charges for electricity and gas will be bourne by me but doesnt mention consumption charges DURING construction. 2 months into construction and I have now received a bill from the power company for meter connection and consumption. I'm guessing I need to pay the consumption charges as well?

My bathroom has a built-in tub (shower-tub combo ofc). I’m against them, as a person who actually likes a good bath from time to time. I’m interested in freestanding tubs because cleaning the far side of the built-in isn’t massively hard, but a bit of a reach without climbing in. I’d just bring it out a bit to avoid that mentioned cranny.
