You need some high-velocity 22 that's all I run in mines and i never had a problem if you could find CCI stingers or Federal punch it's the best ammo for these guns but if you can't find that just something over 1250 fps

I have about 7-800 rounds in mine after breaking in the 300 round mark well oiled and clean I can run the crusty old 22lr in my gun bag.
