Thank you so much... it was all fab, but our faves were New abbey, Kirkcudbright, Isle of Withorn and Culzean Castle.. but honestly, it is such a lovely route, you will find loads of lovely places easily... enjoy your trip when it comes :)

Just don't engage with them and you'll be fine. They also work on the business strategy of "time is money". If you keep saying "No" they'll move on to the next obvious tourist.

We were there last year. Pretty incredible. We didn't manage to get round it all as it was 44 degrees and we had our 2 year old in tow! He loved it too in his own special way...

It’s always somewhere you can go back to when he’s older and will remember. Then you can plan more of what you want to see. Kids going free is a fab thing about Italy.. apparently it’s completely free the first Sunday of every month too… but I think it was worth every euro to visit 😍

Hi All, The A82 Loch Lomondside can be a little daunting , specially for inexperienced or new drivers, I used to drive it in a lorry every day , the secret is to watch well ahead and anticipate . keep your speed down and keep to your own side of the road, drivers of large vehicles (buses and lorries )wll be right on the centreline , so keep left!🚒

Hey 😎 glad you enjoyed.. it’s a beautiful site and lovely part of the uk.. yes they charge extra for the car. I drive it down so we have something to nip about to all the places, as opposed to taking a great big motorhome. It’s only time we do it as we usually move around to different pitches/park ups.. but here we stay for 11 days.
