Kind of a long story. My MacBook Pro M1 Chip Mac was stolen while riding solo on a train in Austria. Definitely stolen. No insurance, so now I need to get a new laptop. I might need to get a Windows Laptop/Workstation this time because those seem to be much better for development and AI. Although one salesperson did say that Macs have a much longer service life than does a Windows Laptop (software and hardware). The IT manufacturers all sort of program in this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence
