I'm brand new to a acrylic and oil painting. I took 1 Bob Ross class and now I'm hungry to learn more. I love how detailed you are explaining things....not too many are as detailed! Thanks!

Your art is so amazing Greg. I have one question though. Did you prep your canvas with gesso before painting it white?
@GregLowmanArt9 сағат бұрын
Thank you and no I didn’t gesso it’s just raw canvas

Also folks remember gently while blender don’t push down on your brush. Gently glide across your paint. That was my down falls many many years ago. Happy painting ., it definitely is a stress reliever.

VERY HELPFUL -- one question-- you mentioned you could add a second layer of blending. I assume the first layer needs to be dry?? Thanks.
@GregLowmanArt15 күн бұрын
Yes you’ll want the first layer to be completely dry before adding a second

BEST painting tutorial ever. I have always struggled with blending - ruining many a canvas. The set up and tools are so important and the energy one must put into the technique Thank you so much for this video. I cant wait to have a crack!!! Subscribed!!

Beautiful but clearly I need to up my brush game😂 I’ve never seen so much water used with acrylics. I’ve always heard too much water breaks them down but ig that’s what’s needed first a good blend. Great video thanks❤

What medium is used with acrylic paint?
@GregLowmanArt23 күн бұрын
Plain water works fine w/ acrylics, but you can add some slow-dri if you need it amzn.to/3GhL5gc
