Mine is going to wage garnishment so I can’t ignore it . Mine isn’t on my credit though . I think they bought this judgment from original cc company. . I have great credit . This judgment coming now sucks. They can only take 10- 25% depending on your incomethankfully . I don’t want to file bankruptcy since I have great credit.

Exactly how I think. But my wife is so tird to the American FICO score. I could stop making these debt payments today and suffer the consequence but be in a better financial position. $500 U.S. per month debt token times six to twelve months time to potential judgement pays off most debts in total. Not to mention, we'll likely settle for a fraction of that.

It's currently with Marstons, and the bailiff is being vile to her and refusing and offers. He says he wants full payment or hell list her goods for removal. Do all these same rules about token payment apply in these circumstances?

Hi , I’ve been paying monzo overdraft fees of around £50 per month for around 2 years now. I’m in 2K£ overdraft with them and also in overdraft with my bank and another credit card. I was offered a 15K loan by monzo and accepted it with the intention to get revenge and not pay them back the loan and also the 2k overdraft. I’m aware of the 6 years blacklist and more than happy to default. Any advice?

Hey man I defaulted on a personal loan of 30k and it seems to have gone away I'm not paying back anything and think bankruptcy is also stupid and unnecessary for someone like me who has no assets Also credit rating mean nothing because I was able to get two more personal loans 6 months after the 30k default One for 2 grand and another for 700 dollars both of which I'm also going to default on because I can't afford it anymore and I really believe you it's all fake money man and means nothing when they're insured I believe I figured out the scam.and arent afraid anymore so why leave myself broke instead of feed millionaires

This is weird advice! Apple is a business, a business that has a market evaluation of 2.3 trillion dollars…so yeah they aren’t too worried about 100 billion dollars of debt. The closest comparison for individuals is Mortgage debt. Nobody thinks or worries about, oh wow I bought a house and now I’m 500k in debt. They only worry about it if they lose their job and can no longer service that debt…the same would be true for Apple or the USA if they couldn’t pay the interest. There are real repercussions to defaulting on a home….u will lose your home….thats something to worry about! Consumer debt? There should be some measure of pride on entering a contract with say CC companies and fulfilling that contract. This kind of debt is covered under bankruptcy though if u can’t. U can default on the contract and they will send them to collections who bought the debt for Pennie’s on the dollar and may ask for full payment or reduced payment on the original debt. Nobody should feel ashamed for paying 25% interest and realizing they aren’t making any headway. People could spend 20 years trying to pay off debt this way. They would have been better off filing bankruptcy and CC companies know this, that’s why they sell debt off to collection agencies for 1/3 the amount. I don’t disagree to this point. Your advice has many flaws and assumptions…..the biggest being that u can simply bury your head in the sand and think everything will be ok once u remove it. Life doesn’t work this way. Things like bankruptcy should be a last resort and in the US its usually related to medical bills, which I’m sympathetic too. Things like CC debt or living beyond your means…sure u can put the rest of the country on the hook for paying these things, but people without pride never learn anything and just repeat their behavior until they have a credit score where no lender will want anything to do with them, which is a behavior I feel like u are promoting. Your advice is absolutely horrible and your examples are silly! Shoplifting in the US has become horrible because shoplifters know they won’t be prosecuted. Walmart doesn’t suffer when they close their stores in a community. The good people in that community suffer though.

True until they garnish your wages then it may cause you to lose your home and car so be careful listening to these tactics

Great channel run by a great guy. I was originally on a DMP (debt management plan) with Stepchange, but after watching your videos - I massaged my figures as if I was on lowrer income, then phoned Stepchange & offered Token payments for all 15 creditors. After about 3 years, we are receiving some real reductions in debt settlement offers - the most recent being a £2300 debt reduced to £400 final settlement offer. People - I can't stress enough, Oye is a lifesaver, and all his advice re' token payments has come true 100%. Offer token payments of £1 for each creditor, relax, then watch the offers roll in after a year or two.
