I miss that river. Used to paddle upstream from hammond to zumbro falls. Then i would crack open a beer or three and relax paddle/float back to my car. Two or three times a week with good weather. But that was eight years ago.

I know this is 9 years old now, but... did they change the name? I grew up in Mt. Carroll and that, people, is the mighty Waukarusa, not "Carroll Creek."

Yep. That's what the locals call(ed) it but we go by the naming conventions of other guides/resources to avoid confusion. It's not the only stream with more than one name. milespaddled.com/carroll-creek/

Fun Fact, before the little wood bridge and after shearer street there should be a pit very near the River, I think thats the old Clay Pits, but I dont exactly know where it is, thats just the my best guess
