@johnnybgood5008 after going back and rewatching I counted 41 different paints which I know is a lot but most of these paints can be used throughout the entire army. I honestly didn't realise it was so many 😳

Do I leave the circle base on the bottom or do I cut the bottom and glue it onto the base like in the picture?

@loweloking88 it's best to leave the circle base and then glue that to the square base. Once you've done so you can then add your basing materials over the circle base and you won't be able to tell the difference.

I have seen it done either way. Some people build very elaborate stands on their bases to raise the Pegasus up so their wings don’t conflict with each other and they can be set in a lance or just in a line.

@loweloking88 I assume you mean the flight stand. You can clip the bottom off if you want and glue it straight to base but the bond won't be as strong as having it round base attached to it. I always glue the flight stand base to the regular base as you can easily cover it.

For some reason , i never thought of mixing metalics with solid color .... Lol ... Ive done metallic base coat with contrast over top, but this way looks quite interesting to give a try !!! Thanks for sharing

Apothecary white painted over a pure white base coat is the effect I think you're after, much like you then did on the stormtroopers and it works quite well for that. It's just designed to shade down white and is next to useless if you want to add to a darker pre-shade. And I'm 100% there with you for the hatred of batch painting.

Yeah. I might use the Apothecary White next time I do some cloth that I'd like to be white. I think it would work great for the subtle shading.

This was painted in 2017 so its been a while. The wash isn't perfect but I'm trying to get everything I've painted up on the shorts. I would definitely have done things differently these days but it'll do. They rarely come out of their case these days anyway. The colour scheme is what GW chose for the Talons of the Emperor Box so blame them for that lol
