Made a Discovery today. VW type 1 2 and 3 window cranks fit Volvo 240 window crank handles got nice shiny chrome ones and they bolted right on to replace the cheesy plastic ones from Volvo or IPD for that matter

It's crazy in the USA I need a steering rack for my 1993 244 and the ship couldn't find one and so began the relationship where I could slice all my parts for my car. I found one in no time but certain parts are getting trickier to find.

Mine had severe wobble under braking but no detectable play by hand. I found alot of poor quality bearing when I tried to order it. They were like half the width, don't buy the cheapest parts. Torque is basically as high as you can get it with 60cm breaker.
