This version of Street always felt so soulless to me gameplay wise. Especially after Vol. 2. Just felt like they didn't truly have the heart that the first two had here. It looked like they were trying to do too much with the cinematic aspect of the game. Easily last of the 4.

I remember playing this the first time on that nice 2 week winter break we’d get from school . Being able to shoot during the loading screen blew my mind 😂 ahhhhh I miss being a kid

This was when they messed up the dunk animations & introduced “run into the invisible wall & stumble back” interactions. If you play NBA Live 06 you will see how flawless the dunk animations were compared to 08. Not sure why they didn’t stick to Live 06 mechanics. They were the best most realistic of any NBA Live.
