D’Angelo is in my humble opinion the greatest musician and songwriter of my generation. After not listening to Black Messiah for at least 4 years I pulled it back out and listened to it again last month and it was like hearing it for the first time. I appreciate the album and him so much more now. Like all of his fans I’m starved for a new album and tour from him. I pray he’s in good spirits and health. His fans will there when he’s ready.

Everytime I watch a video about this man, my emotions flare up. I’m not sure if I should be pissed off, crying, or appreciative of the Art that he’s created. I need to see him live as I wasn’t old enough to see him prior too. Like dude, release some more music or at least tour for me please! We NEED IT! I know he lives a private life, which I respect, but come on man! I hope he sees this, music lovers need YOU Micheal (D’Angelo).

I always thought the Matrix sequels were like the show from the 60's, The Prisoner. Except way more complicated, unnecessarily so. Also, at the end of The Matrix, Neo pretty much seems unkillable. And how does one get emotionally or mentally invested if the main character seems or is unkillable? Not a good place to start, that's for sure.

I hate to break it to you bro after doing a descent video but Public Enemy had already Revolutionised Hip-Hop before Fight the Power was released on the Previous LP It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us back & Don't believe the Hype. Some may even argue that they revolutionised Hip-Hop on the Debut Yo Bum! Don't Rush the Show

First let me say I’m a musician and have been for the past 30 plus years. I am a fan of D’Angelo and his music. This won’t be a popular opinion, nevertheless the album Voodoo wasn’t good to me at all. Send It On, Untitled were for me the best to records on the album. The vocal quality was in-distinguishable, arrangements were sparse. To call Voodoo a ‘classic’ is gratuitous. Now with Black Messiah, this was the album that should have come out after the commercial release Brown Sugar. Every record on this album he sounded free! Free to be who he really was, Brown Sugar was clearly not who he was but a record label version of him. BS was a great album, but to me out of the 3 BM is the best. Another thing I’d like to address, are we proclaiming his greatness prematurely? He has 3 albums? MJ, Stevie, Prince, Marvin all have vast catalogs that show the growth and maturation they had as artist and I’m supposed to crown Mr. Archer as a goat after 3? And he really has, out of the 3, 1 great album? Love him as an artist, but I can’t rock with that. Out of the 3 albums I only listen to BM, I have tried over and over and over to listen to Voodoo and see the genius that everyone talks about but I don’t hear it. My 2 cents.

@Rowanlafolle19656 ай бұрын
Sorry, but this would be more impressive if you pronounced his last name and "Santeria" correctly. Also, I don't even get the comparison with Nirvana. Brad was definitely more talented than Kurt Cobain, and I don't know anyone who would argue that.

The Matrix Sequels are good actually, and have a lot of interesting ideas more so than the first film. Reloaded is actually the Best of the the Trilogy, followed by the first movie and then Revolutions. My friend Rick Worley explains why in this video here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mMd3ippj3b-2pKc.html
