I've bought from Ultimate Collector Stickers once before...for KingsKnight Space Shuttle moc! those stickers came out really well too. It really makes the shuttle look proper, as if Lego sold it as a set.

I fully agree with the diversity. It's great to have both genders and multiple skin tones for more "background" characters, especially Stormtroopers. It makes me see them as people instead of just a suit of armor with a generic angry Clone face.

Ultimate Collector Stickers and BrickStickerShop are both great, very high quality. I would love to see custom stickers specific to your and others' MOCs - really looking forward to seeing what you come up with in collaboration with them. Stickers from both companies do use a slightly thicker material for the sticker than LEGO does, and the corners, at least for the UCS plaque-style stickers, are sharp instead of rounded like LEGO's. That's how you can tell them apart fairly easily. The backing of the sticker is also noticeably thicker. Hilariously, this often means that there's better color matching, especially for the whites and reds when placed on darker/lighter elements, respectively.

I thought I'd seen a UCS style sticker in the background near your Mantis in one of your pics! 😲I had forgotten the Marauder once actually had a pinup Padme. I would be more curious to see what you can do with a few stickers to use to detail your builds, the UCS plaque style always spoke to me a bit less. And if you design them in collaboration, you can really make sure the sticker fits on a single brick each time, so you can still take your stuff apart without killing it. One concern I have is what the import cost would be, buying some stuff from the UK since Brexit has often become a "pay the same in import cost as for the product", but perhaps stickers are different?

This was a really well thought-out set and genuinely looks amazing! In the two years since you've posted this video, it seems the Lego Star Wars design team has taken bits and pieces of what you are saying. The Yavin 4 Rebel Base was a good concept and in my opinion, executed not so well. However, in due time Lego will hopefully transfer that same aspiration into a set where it is better realized. Additionally, with Moff Gideons Battle set, the instruction manual encourages the builder to attach a coinciding battle pack alongside and combine them. This is just the beginning for these arguably progressive ideas that Lego is incorporating in its sets, and I want to say they will only be more apparent in the future.

A really sleek model ! I really like the way you've designed the cockpit, and the solar pannels, while retaining all the previous play functions ! Congrats ! How are your other Star Wars projects moving forward (T-6 Shuttle, Mantis) ? Do you use any software to help you design these models ?

The set looks great, well done! However, I really think the wings should rotate down. It would look cool and also provide cover for the troops during transport. I plan on building it and trying that change out myself.

Love your cockpit work. Did you mess around at all trying to use piece 61409 and a combination of brackets and snotted bricks to do the internals of the wings?

That dropship battle pack was such a god tier set. Super cheap and the vehicle itself had a lot of utility either as a transport or a gunship like a little bird helicopter. Not to mention buying 2 or 3 got you a lot of stormtroopers

Sir i love it. Imo its better than the police gunship Brace yourself, because here comes a rabbithole lol but this build reminds me of the obscure side of Star Wars where we got a lot of ships that are mainstream now but were very niche then. And for some reason i see this existing in the Star Wars: DROIDS show lol and not a bad thing, i love the show. It has that far, far away element, where its in the Star Wars universe but its some world on the outer rim, and the Empire cant budget a bunch of Sentinel shuttles or other tranaports for such insignificant operations, so they use a short range in atmosphere craft to do all of the logistical operation. Maybe they dont always transport troops, maybe its a generator one day, or a munitions stack, or mining equipment, etc. Idk it just has that "real" Star Wars feel. And thats not me hating on LEGOs models, love both of them. But those felt purely for battle and were super sleek, but this just has that Star Wars juice lol

Damn that’s such a banger of a MOV! As some have said, that was also one of my first Lego Star Wars sets and yours looks just fantastic! I remember really liking the imperial droid brain tie fighter as well, it’s rectangular wings were super cool, so nice addition ^^
