The BS Excuse that the X300 light switches were discontinued for imaginary variances between Surefire brand lights is reason enough for me to never buy another PHLSter product again. Thanks for ditching the $30 fix and leaving me with the $120 one, jerkoff!

Looks really nice. Just wish S&W would get on the bandwagon of making optics cuts standard. I guess we have to wait for the Performance model to get that. I know some won't care about that on CC weapons, but it's nice to have options.

If you can find a way to stick this on an enigma without making the holster as big as a p365...you have my attention. It would be a phenomenal deep concealment option. Running out of space between the grip and face plate seems like an issue. Maybe the answer is a mini enigma faceplate for the smallest pistols.

Love my 2 enigmas! Game changer setup for sure. Still on the fence if I should get the floodlight 2 version since that might be too big to conceal even for an enigma, at least on me

I'm not carrying a set of keys in my pocket, much less a firearm.🧚‍♂😆 I'm "moving up" to a 4" PDP F-Series to keep my 3.5" model company. Fabric holsters with a belt clip are my favorite ways to carry ( tucked or untucked) but the choices are limited. That extra .5" of barrel length might help me conceal these F-Series 'bricks', hope so!

I have it and I love it and I have big hands. As a side I’ve never seen a bigger manual nearly 50 pages well done Smith and Wesson. Are you by yourself here lose that cardboard box and get a Magpul Daka utility pouch. Absolutely fits the gun and it’s extra mag like a ladies glove.Thin and discreet I don’t know why Smith and Wesson doesn’t market it together. Best $30 you ever spent for the best handgun that you’ll have gotten in a long time

One of the issues has always been that people will say that something “works,” when we can’t really see what it is that they think “works.” They might be satisfied with their results, but we don’t really know what those results are, or if we, ourselves, would have the same satisfaction. That’s why we try to have a principle-driven approach we a defined end-goal.

great video, I have been considering this gun for its size. I already own the S&W shield plus and the safety was so stiff on it when I bought it. I read so many posts online and everyone said just keep cycling the safety a couple hundred times, and they said it would loosen it up, and they were right, it did help.

I carry either a model 60 revolver or a Shield 9 in the appendix position, with a 45 degree can't. It's just a modified cross draw that is natural and the "keel" issue is resolved by the 45 degree rotation. This keeps the muzzle from pointing directly at your bladder. I have a gut, and the muzzle line still clears my left hip. On my skinny wife, it's flat as a pancake. Draw is very quick and is as natural to the draw hand as reaching into a pocket of a parka. Just pull straight up to clear your shirt, while at the same time moving the draw hand to the grips. Completely conceals under a T-shirt. Position is between the button on my jeans and the first belt loop on the right. Holster is self made, very thickk leather, very old school. There are many out there available that are just like it - but aren't strong side cross draw types, so I made my own.

To clarify: Whether or not something is a “pocket pistol” depends on the size of the person carrying and their clothing selection, not on the size of gun itself. A lot of small people who don’t have the luxury of wearing clothing in which a “pocket pistol” might conceal in a pocket, the way larger people might carry it. Simply saying “carry it in your pocket” doesn’t help those folks any, when they don’t have that option. They’re more likely to have to carry inside the waistband, at which point they encounter some of the pistol balancing issues we discuss here.

Did you coat leather with rubber or something sticky? Pocket holders slip and holster come with it on draw. I only found 2 holders with sticky substance that don't fade quickly. Wish there are better sticky material.

I agree without the Enigma too. I found out years ago my Glock 26 carries better than my G43 and I can then maintain a true double stack G17 backup mag... and my G42 serves well in the ankle or pocket...but I much prefer a concealed hammer snub like my 442 for those roles.

This isn’t specific to appendix carry, though. And “the industry” doesn’t sell appendix carry. It’s a long-evolved practice, among a number of similar well evolved best practices. “The industry” doesn’t “sell” isosceles stance and two handed grip, either.

Rather than drawing I would find concealability and comfort more important. Situational awareness and prayers for finding yourself in a situation where you need to draw and use gun. Granted I find carrying less and less comfortable after gaining weight and don't have clothes a size larger. Don't know if wearing larger clothes helps as I hate the fear of printing.
@rbm6184
@rbm6184 6 күн бұрын
@saintsinningsword True. Concealability and comfort are more important than speed. Rarely if ever would someone need to speed draw against someone else except in Hollywood movies. In most cases criminals will already have their guns out and pointing if they mean to use them. So it would be more of a case of getting the drop on criminals when to draw before they can kill you.

Hi, and thanks! Question. I'm a new Enigma owner and haven't started carrying yet - still getting used to the feeling of the rig. My CZ70BD seems a bit large for EDC, though I might get used to it. On the Bodyguard 2.0 with safety, you say you use only for holstering. Does that mean once it's in the holster you take the safety off? Thanks.
