I didn't' understand where you were pushing the pin with your nail clippers. The pin was in the middle and you were entering on the side of the base. My V860IIIO is stuck on my camera.

When the flash is on the camera, it becomes a bit more difficult to access the pin but here is a link to another video showing a possible solution: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ZsdjbLl_rZbInKM.htmlsi=6wN34GzHClU5kCPH

On my R10 in Sound Recording it just says ON & OFF . It doesn’t say manual or auto?
@princejbc2003
@princejbc2003 15 күн бұрын
I’m not sure why you are seeing this. If you go to the sound recording menu, you should see either auto, manual or disable. The disable mode is your sound recording off mode. If your sound recording is disabled, you will not immediately see the auto and manual mode options. You will need to go into the disable menu, click on disable and you will then be presented with two other options; manual and auto.

@@princejbc2003 the only thing that was a major problem I encountered while using the h6? I’ve only been using xlr cables NOT realizing that I needed to plug in the 1/4” in until it snaps in place. Missed about a 1/2 recording for audio guy wasn’t paying attention 😔 otherwise after I noticed the issue when checking on him, I plugged cables in correctly. Valuable and costly lesson. Fortunately I had some audio from cameras.

@@gracenmotion2402 that was a costly mistake. I tend to be paranoid about audio so I always make sure I have some kind of backup scratch audio.

It’s a great product though I think it is more suited to higher end professional use…it is a bit of an overkill for just simple KZfaq videos. You need a heavy duty tripod to support it for sure..it is quite a heavy set up. I love the different input options. For the software installation, it seems to only work with PCs not Macs. Overall, no regrets.

Yes it is though these days I would recommend a hybrid camera especially if you are small shooter because with hybrids, you can switch to photos easily and so shoot both photos and video. I don’t like its low light performance so if you do a lot of indoor shooting with no extra lights, that might be a challenge.

@princejbc2003
@princejbc2003 15 күн бұрын
The camera has a 24x normal or optical zoom. If you want to zoom beyond that then you need to switch on the i-zoom or digital zoom function and that allows you to zoom to 48x. The downside is that the image quality is not as good beyond the normal zoom range. Go to camera menu then SW mode then Zoom and set iZoom to ON.

I wish canon offered a way to move the spot in spot metering maybe to the focus point even that would make it way more convenient to use
@princejbc2003
@princejbc2003 Ай бұрын
There is a clunky workaround by metering and then recomposing while having locked the exposure. Let me know if this works. 1. Set the Metering Mode to Spot 2. Lock the Exposure and point the center of the frame at the area you want to meter. 3. Press the exposure lock button and recompose your shot while holding the exposure lock. 4.Take the Photo

I believe it is called Shot Mark in this camera. I don't have access to it right now but try this and let me know if it works: You can assign this function to either User Button 1 or User Button 2. From the menu, navigate to the USER BUTTON settings in the USER MENU. Select the desired button 1 or 2 and assign it to SHOT MARK.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I read a review of the Godox TT600 in which a photographer commented that the HSS is only suitable as a backlight etc rather than a main light. Would you agree or disagree with that? From those comments in the review, it sounds like the light output from the HSS in this unit is very weak.
@princejbc2003
@princejbc2003 Ай бұрын
He is probably correct. The TT600 is a great basic speedlight but I would not recommend it for heavy duty use. It is, however, one of a few basic speedlights that can actually do HSS so if you're a beginner and want to practice HSS before investing in more advanced lights, then this is the place to start. Just remember that for HSS to work on this light, you need a trigger that can get the HSS info from your camera...it won't work on it's own.

Haviing many other cameras and this one from the day 1 of release. Absolutly stunning camera if you know limitations (like extreme low light). Overall highly recommended. The microscopic con that need special charger (included) and not just USB-C charging, and regarding lens hood it's mostly impossible to use filters without removing the hood. But that very minor things.

Hey boet, 2 quick questions on this camera please. Is there a quick start on quick on function that lets the camera boot up faster? Then the fast zoom, is there any way to set this to permanently on? I set my assign button 5 to fast zoom function but would love it to be on all the time Thanks a bunch
@princejbc2003
@princejbc2003 Ай бұрын
Try this: Navigate to Quick Start from the Menu button. Set it to on. Then keep the camera in standby mode by closing the LCD monitor or retracting viewfinder. When you open the viewfinder, the camera will be ready to record without long boot up. As for the quick zoom, I will do some research on that when I get hold of the camera...I currently don't have access to it.

Sony cameras use a different hotshoe on the camera and so the first thing you will need is a hotshoe adaptor to change your Sony hotshoe to a regular one. After that all you need is a universal radio flash trigger like the Godox CT16 and two two receivers that you fix to your Canon flashes and you’re good to go. You will not be able to control the flashes within your camera menu or TTI but you can trigger them.

You said that it does not charge the battery while recording. Does this mean that the camcorder does not use the battery while it's plugged in and recording? Does this mean that I can have it plugged in while recording, the battery won't be used, but if the camera suddenly gets unplugged will it switch to the battery without any issue or loss in footage? I was looking into getting this camcorder because I record footage sometimes that can be longer than 4 hours, and I usually just plug in my camcorder, press record, and let it record everything.
