Kinda funny that LJ80 is both the coolest and least capable rig there. Seriously though, you don't see them in that good shape ever

Is the mini spool on both axes?
@Bigbendesigns4 жыл бұрын
No. Just in the back.

How was the steerin affected? Is it harder to manuever with the front locked. I have to do something with my open front diff
@Bigbendesigns5 жыл бұрын
The spool is in the rear. Front is still open.

HI! awesome suzuki! :D Thinking about doing this myself but my plan is to buy a grand vitara 2000-2005 model and swap a 3.2 V6(230 hp) and transmission, from the new GV should it be hard Im planning on doing it myself with help, I know it somehow shouldn't be hard since the new V6 is based of the 2.5 and 2.7 from the older models and the new GV had the same 2.7 as the XL-7 should I do it, it would be a very cool car! and also it would be RWD 4x4 is harder to swap due to the diff and etc. right?

@Tehsnook Stock engine with Turbo.
@Bigbendesigns13 жыл бұрын
@ray4hire Thanks man. The swap was pretty intense. You don't need a different engine to join us on a trip. Most of the guys are running stock 1.3L or 1.6L engines. Just come on out!
@Tehsnook13 жыл бұрын
what motor you have running in that ? stock w/turbo ? or...?
@Bigbendesigns14 жыл бұрын
@ray4hire Thanks! You can check out the build on the Zukiworld (I've just listed in the caption).

Awsome machine, could you tell me a little about the swap and donar vehicle, I'm workin on a 92 tracker and am very interested. then maybe i could join you guys on one of you excursions, I'm from Rimbey and grew up in rockey mnt house.
@Bigbendesigns15 жыл бұрын
It took about 4 hours...not too bad in a Tracker. Yeah the spool replaced the spider gears so no more differential action.
@batesville215 жыл бұрын
isn't the spool lock the diffs? how hard is it to put on?
