Very cool! I read about the history of these modern petroglyphs in Don Fig's Tales of the Red River Gorge. The backstory is pretty intriguing. Is this at the end of the Buckskinner Hill trail? The last time I was out that way the deadfall was pretty bad.

Evidently it's a geological formation in the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. I was looking for my Fates Warning hero also!

@redvoodoosix Park at the concrete bridge and follow "Douglas Trail", an unofficial trail that follows the river upstream. Hike about 1-1.5 miles ( past moonshiner's arch and "the cave"). There is a trail on the other side of a small creek that leads up to the falls and overlook.

No, I thought I'd read there was another falls up higher. I'll check it out next time. Thanks
