Regarding the battery, if you use the Spektrum 600 mAh or anything that weighs 51 to about 54 grams, place it so it’s all the way forward (touching the barrier in the nose compartment. Regarding the plastic doors, they’re extremely flimsy and will fall off if the landing is anything but perfect. I just removed them. For flights without the gear, it’s best to have an AstroTurf like smooth grass or it will tend to cartwheel. Battery time with a 600 mAh is 3 minutes with mixed throttle. You have 20 percent battery left. With a 700 mAh I have about 25 percent left after 3 minutes. So, I would stick with the 600 to 700 mAh batteries. The 850 mAh ones might give me 4 minutes at the expense of higher wing loading-and high wing loadings make planes trickier to fly. I would not recommend this jet for small fields. It needs a large space to get the most of its capabilities.

I've not ever had good luck from small(er than 70mm) edf's myself. Umx's (warthog, sabre, etc) failed horribly for me. I know it's me🤷‍♂️.

I wonder if you are able to get away with adding the same exact motor&prop 3s set up that's on both the UMX Turbo Timber Evo or UMX Air Tractor Jon??

I just recently got one of these and I can't get the flaperons to work properly. I followed the instructions and when i flick the switch, one aileron goes down and the other goes up. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Im using a Spektrum NX8 radio.

Hello , I also have this Heli . For some reason the Swash Plate will not raise when I throttle up to collective pitch. everything else works fine . Throttle , Rudder , Elevator and Aileron . The Swash Plate will raise if I push the Panic /Bind button . I am using the DXs transmitter that came with it . Thanks . love your video's

You say you like to fly low but can't because you don't have the servo speed....all while bouncing around in all crazy directions at 4 to 8 feet above the ground and several times getting down to 1 - 2ft. Can't wait to see you fly when you get your program and servos worked out. Good stuff Jon, I enjoyed watching that run....keep it up.

I 'inherited' a blade 150s smart 3 months ago. Too skeer'd to try it on my RM tx16s. I got a good deal on a yr old (NOS) iX14 from my LHS. Yesterday i maidened it. Another unfortunate thing, upon takeoff, i remembered everything from my heli days (blade 230s & fusion 360) of 5 years ago 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♀️. Now im looking at another 360 fusion. What have i done?😁

Flying at 100% is not where it's at. Same maneuvers at 50%, or less, and you will have developed some beautiful looking skills.

Interesting landing, what happened there? You've got it flying better than I ever thought it would, but you can't expect a wing like that to be a really good RC flyer. It was designed to fly at mach 3, not 30 MPH.
