You might be right about KAM, but if CG doesn’t give us a better way to get KAM shards and he’s going to be a requirement then I think CG is giving a huge middle finger to a lot of the player base. I get your point about he’s been in the game for 3 years, but how much of that time was ROTE available? I’d say you’re really looking at a 2 year window or less. Once they introduced ROTE, they pushed us to play it with the rewards they gave. So if you weren’t in a large enough guild or started this game in the last few years there is no way you have KAM and no responsible way to get him. Responsible meaning for the overall health and growth of your account. Even if they added him to Proving Grounds, that would be something, but to leave it as it is and make him a requirement? ….

some people apply 8 brother lead omicron to get a little bit of extra stats on the Schyte, but it doesnt affect speed soooooo its kinda crazy

I don't understand your surprise, this is exactly what SWGoH does every year, a new GL, a new legendary event, Baylan. They only thing missing this year is a new fleet, legendary ship. 95% of releases in SWGoH are about new characters / making CG / EA money, that's it.

I hate the artwork actually lol... also yeah it looks like two people attended two different meetings and wrote these updates separately. Most of these characters should have gone with GL Thrawn and the ones more people want more (Baylan, Shin, new Sabine) go with GL Ahsoka. Not sure we all wanted zombie troopers first when we thought about this show. Very confusing updates all around.

Great content and thought provoking as always Phil. I think Leviathan’s days are numbered as a money maker. I’m not a spender in this game outside of 3 light speed bundles, but getting Leviathan is in my plans for the fall. I won’t be spending money to upgrade it, I’ll keep it on offence and use it on my opponent’s 3rd fleet until it gets more stars. I think more FTP players like me are not going to be spending money on Leviathan. Perhaps this is one of the reasons CG is starting to push r9 requirements, forcing us to pick and choose and hope we’ll spend to get the other.

I don’t agree with the analysis on Leviathan. it is not a cash cow now and with the counters available against, why spend relci materials on SA. Mine SA is at R7 and don’t feel the need to move higher with GL Ahsoka now revealing the need for more higher relics. Meathead writes what Product Managers tell him too. So, don’t bash him. Keep the focus on the poor Product Managers who fail to communicate clearly their intentions for 6 months or more.

You made my heart sink Phil when you said you’re thinking Jar Jar is “coming late July or August”. I’d heard many people saying early August. I really wish CG would communicate more clearly. The fact that we don’t actually have a date for the next time Jar Jar is coming is insane. I can do early August. Late July, I’m not as confident. Something this important in the game, we should know when it’s happening.

Crazy how "whaling" has such a negative stigma attached to it when spenders are literally the only reason the game exists.

Nice work on getting Bo Katan. I diverted my attention from her to Gungans. I’m ready for Jar Jar but I don’t have the materials for Beq, Grogu, or Paz. I feel you on the mods. I’ll have to find some decent mods for them but I’ll probably wait until I unlock Jar Jar to get them where they need to be. That is unless they are great in the raid even without Jar Jar.
