Could you use Dollar tree spackle to put in those really delicate fine lace mold?

On the hot glue molds you could use a heat gun or a hair dryer to soften it up a little bit before you put it on your piece.

Great video ! It was extremely helpful! I have some thin molds that I had given up on. I’m going to take your advice and try them again. Blessings!

I'm so happy to have found your channel. This is a very instructive video. I've been using IOD mouldes for years now....and I've never put one in my freezer, I do agree that some of their mouldes are extremely detailed and for those I use resin.....some times I do use a brayer on the back side of the moulde to make sure It's flat.... Thank you for sharing these very useful tips!

Thankyou, as a beginner i was having all sorts of problems. Not now, the freezer has done the trick. Brilliant. No gas bagging about nothing, just straight into the demo. So much better. So thankyou again.

Here we area few years later but I so enjoy your video! Your work is very detailed. I am surfing the internet to try and find the type of mulberry paper that you are using. There are some with gold fleck, but they appear to be too thick? Can you share where you found your paper?

Do you prep the mannequin, like sanding it?? I had put a decoupage as a prep all over, and painted mine with acrylics, used rice paper (decoupage also on top) decor and moldings and all the paint and decor just peeled off, .........it did not work ((. Does it need to be sanded? Does acrylic paint not work? Does decoupage not work as a base prep? I am a bit bummed cause I worked on this for over 3 days and I loved it and it was ruined in like 5 min

Greetings from Germany I've just came across this lovely makeover of yours and wondered what kind of napkin you used; it looked very thick and sturdy compare to mine. You did take the bottom layers of the buuterfly after cutting it out, right? 🤔❤

I just wanted to hop on and say that there really is a difference between “the other” decoupage glue and the Deco Art Napkin product. Far fewer wrinkles with the deco art product. It was absolutely astonishing. I couldn’t find it locally so I had to order it, and I’m so glad I did.

Love this! Another video I watched said you had to laminate a white backing sheet onto maps if they were double-sided. But I note yours was double sided and you didnt do that - interesting!

Wait,so you don't apply glue to the shell first, before adding the napkins? I've never seen anyone do it like that before. It would save so much time and looks easier..thanks so much for sharing this technique ❤

I am pretty new at crafting. I've started making some cement coasters and decoupaging podge and napkins on them. I guess great minds think a like. Cause when it came time to seal it. I also got the heat enamel spray.😂 I'm doing a test run on a few today. But I think it is going to do great.

Your video is by far the best that I've seen and I think I've watched them all. Your the only one that suggested the DecoArt Napkin Glue, the Triple Gloss Finish and the craft iron. After watching your video, It makes sense to use these tools which I have ordered on Amazon and received. The other great tip you gave was using the oven. I'm planning on doing 4 4x4 ceramic tiles with napkins so I'm really glad I hung in there until I found your video. Thanks for doing all the research for us.

I have been doing decoupage for nearly 40 years and I still have trouble from time to time with wrinkles in my napkins. The water method is not for me. I tried it a few times without success. This method looks a lot easier and I will definitely be giving it a try. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and knowledge.. its a great help!!!🙏

Your video was wonderful and quite helpful. I've been redoing some of my old flower pots and wished I had seen your video before I decoupaged them. They look ok, but they could have had less wrinkles. Thank you.
